Missing part in the packaging. Had to order it from AXP and a 9.60 dollar part ended up being almost 70 with shipping and fees. I was told to "contact" the dealer as it was on them. No it's not...it was a damn missing part of the skid plate and I had to purchase it, while the damn skid plate was already over 350 dollars. The skid plate doesn't even fit correctly on my 890 ADV R. I had to cut a piece out for the left side fuel petcock housing. Straight garbage.

Very decent skid plate, but difficult to mount. I have serious doubts that the screws which attach the skid plate to the mounting bar will survive a few mount/unmounts for cleaning or cooling liquid replacement. I will go back to an Acerbis skid plate and Acerbis engine protection.

This product has been manufactured and sold since 2024, with hundreds of units in use and no major issues reported. While the fastening system could be further improved, and enhancements are planned for the 2027 model, there are currently no concerns regarding its strength or reliability.

Ordered a 701 skid slate. The item send has bolt holes that do not align. It’s not even close. Really poor quality control. I am now trying to get this resolved, but can only communicate through their website which is taking days between responses. When I do get a response, they ask for photos which I have already sent to them. I am having a very very frustrating experience so far, and so would not recommend using this company.

I ordered a skid plate for a 2026 Suzuki DRZ4S with the rear shock protector. I don’t like 2 things about it… 1 - no hole to drain oil, why not have access to the drain plug vs having to remove the skid plate every time I change oil. 2 - the shock protector hits the shock every time weight is off the bike, so if I ride through a choppy area it makes a horrible rattling/banging.

The hole for the oil change is not listed as a criterion in the product description, so we consider that there should be no surprise regarding this point.
Regarding the linkage protection, the skid plate is designed so that it does not come into contact with the linkage when the bike is in a static, unloaded position. Contact during the suspension’s extension is unavoidable and, to date, has not caused any issues. However, if you notice that the skid plate touches the linkage in a neutral position, please feel free to send us photos at [email protected] so we can analyze the issue.

Should have bought through a distributor. Major problems with shipping, and ZERO response to multiple emails and phone calls. Good product, terrible service. The two weeks late may be a consequence of customs in UK which, with Brexit cause lot of issues and, unfortunatly, we can't manage politic stuff. Customer service was appalling. An incorrectly manufactured product was sent to me. They knew it was incorrect before they sent it but they sent it anyway. When they wwere contacted about it they told me to fix it myself.
I had to criticize the product on youtube before the very arrogant Xavier Dugardin said that because I got a discount and free shipping that I should be grateful.
If AXP had pride in their products this wouldn't have happened.
Overall, a disgustingly bad experience.

Dear Gary ! The product was not incorrect, just not bent enough for some degreeds and we gave you the advice to make a minor modification, easy to manage at home, in order to make you save time. You didn't want to make it so we sent back another one. Remember that we're talking about a 20€ part.
Regarding our answers, arrogance is not a correct term. We offered you a discount which was exceptionnal, we had no reason to do it. We didn't find fair your way to "attack" us for this minor issue regarding the offer we done for you.
We can make mistakes, customers can perfectly be unhappy and write us. We always find a solution by a cordial exchange.
