I had already bought the 14-inch, lightweight, balanced geometry, a treat for my little one. The 16-inch is in the same vein. Quick question, how do you advise us to maintain the chain guard in the form of a belt mounted directly on the chain? I imagine the chain gets dirty anyway, do we need to remove everything to clean the chain properly? No documentation on the internet, any idea for a YouTube video for you?
Regarding the chain guard, please note that it allows your Bemoov's chain to require very little maintenance. However, if you need to clean or lubricate it, you must first remove the rear plastic piece (located on the sprocket), then the front plastic piece (located on the chainring). To do this, you need to loosen the two bolts securing the rear wheel. By then pushing the rear tire slightly forward, you will reduce the tension on the chain, and the two plastic pieces can be pushed inward and removed more easily (Caution: these pieces can break under excessive force. Act delicately). After removing these intermediate pieces, you can easily access the chain and lubricate it if necessary.
In case of difficulty or complete removal of the chain guard, you should have it done by a mechanic in a specialized workshop, as special tools are required to remove the various clips. 1/ Quality of the bike: nothing to say so far. 2/ Delay in the arrival of the order. 3/ Bike not equipped upon delivery, while your site does not mention that accessories are to be assembled by the buyer. 4/ The fixing screws for the luggage rack were missing and were delivered (very kindly by France) afterwards.

Deliveries are carried out by external companies, as is the case for all our distance selling colleagues, we do everything to minimize delays but it still happens sometimes unfortunately. The mudguards and luggage racks are clearly indicated as "accessories" on the site, we thought this made it clear that they needed to be assembled, but following your comment we will clarify this point further. Got a wobbly rear wheel and has to exchange that. Not a very smooth experience with different logistic company’s etc.
We are sorry to hear that one of the wheels of your bike was damaged during transport. Unfortunately, despite our precautions, protections, and the image on the box, we are not immune to such incidents. We can, of course, send you a new wheel at our expense or cover the replacement cost if you have already replaced it.
