Overall, I am satisfied with the product and the responsiveness of the team while they manufactured and shipped the products. I rated this 4 stars rather than 5 because the production time was about 4-6 weeks, but I am overall OK with that because Black Armoury managed my expectations along the way. They were honest about the delivery time and responded quickly to my email inquiry, sent around 4 weeks after the purchase. I would recommend this company and I would by from them again.

In the end i ordered a complete poleaxe from Black Armoury. I have not yet had the chance to spar with it. But the feeling is great. I had to assemble the poleaxe with a few bolts though, i know other people that can use the friction of the wood and the axe, but it is perfect now. I'm very happy with it and will propably order something again!! Very happy with the looks and the feel also with the quality and the speed of delivery!!! Big thank you for the people at Black armoury!!!

I called to get information on delivery time. The line was busy, but I was called back soon after. I was very graciously and precisely informed and the information proved to be accurate. The only minus is that the shipping costs appear at the last moment ; it would be convenient to have them sooner. I'm afraid it is a bit too early to rate the product, which seems quite fine.

I must admit that the facsimiles offered are of great quality for a reasonable price. Moreover, you find reference works at very attractive prices (for example, A. Calonne's translations are all 5EUR cheaper than on Amazon). The product catalog, particularly the bookstore section, is really specialized.

At the time I placed the order I didn't realize that the helmet was backordered. And I don't think that it was all that obvious on the site that it was backordered. So the resulting wait was not nice. But if I had ordered it from a US distributer I would have only gotten it a week or two earlier. And at the time the exchange rate was very good for me so it was a good deal. Communication was also a bit of a problem, but I understand that they were going through a staff shakeup, or some such. So OK. Overall, not a terrible experience, but not a 5.

I did not expect the turn around and delivery to be so fast! I ordered on a Thursday and received my order about a week and a half later and I live in the US. Check out was quick and easy as well.

Buying for shipment to the UK worked fine. Blackarmoury didn't charge me vat so I had to pay vat through parcelforce before they would deliver. I.e. as expected. No other problems with customs. Great source for hema gear!
