You have been ordering ippi patchouli and ippi patchouli clair for years, which are perfumes designed to be powerful and to leave a trail behind your steps. Musk, on the other hand, is designed to be intimate, as indicated in the details of its notes on our site. It is a discreet perfume, for those who do not wish to leave a trail behind them. It is true that some skin types drink up perfumes faster than others, and this may be the case for you, but our many customers who have been addicted to this perfume since the late 1980s will surely not share your opinion when you say that it is "imperceptible".

To be precise, you ordered the ippi patchouli eau de parfum (we don't make eau de toilette), but the pure perfume is even more concentrated, therefore more powerful and intense, so that it will bewitch you the next time you order... First of all, we are delighted to read that you like our perfumes, and as for their staying power, it's hard to say that they don't hold up: our fragrances are eaux de parfum, which means that they contain a fairly high concentration of perfume that has allowed them to seduce thousands of noses for over 30 years. On the other hand, several elements can explain this impression:
- Some fragrances are designed to be powerful and leave a trail behind you (e.g. ippi patchouli, kilim, so, vanilla, 555 or even label rose) and others are created with the intention of making intimate fragrances, for those who prefer discreet scents (musk, original musk or alõ for example).
- The other very important factor is your skin: each skin is different and will "drink" a perfume more or less quickly. If this is your case, we recommend perfuming your hair or your clothes for example, on which the perfume will last longer.
- Finally, the format of our samples, which are equipped with an ear bud and not a spray bottle, may explain this feeling. The spray bottle makes it easier to dose and distribute the fragrance on the skin, improving the staying power of the fragrance.

As the name suggests, vanilla (a natural vanilla from Uganda to be precise) is the main ingredient of this rather refined fragrance, in which you will also find notes of caramel and almonds in particular, as the description of this fragrance states. Created more than 30 years ago, our loyal customers who are addicted to this perfume describe it as sweet but present and persistent, so we are rather surprised that you consider that it doesn't have a good staying power. Especially since it's a real gourmand whose sweet notes naturally promote persistence, i.e. staying power on the skin. It is true that each skin is different and will diffuse a perfume more or less, but unfortunately we can't control that.
