If you’re looking for even greater intensity and longevity, our pure perfume collection is formulated with a much higher fragrance concentration and may be a better match for what you’re looking for. Thank you for having the curiosity to discover our perfumes Sarah, and happy to read that two of them particularly please you! However, it is surprising that they do not "last at all" on your skin, but we acknowledge that:
- Longevity can vary from person to person.
- Our samples are equipped with a touch ear, and it is true that it is less practical than a spray that allows for better dosing and spreading of the perfume. On occasion, visit one of our retailers to test our perfumes using their tester bottles, you may have a different experience.
- Not all perfumes are meant to be powerful: feel free to specify which ones you liked, we may be able to better advise you to enjoy them!

If you are indeed talking about our alô perfume, it is indeed a fragrance that was not designed to be very powerful. Its formula contains several citrus fruits, which are very volatile ingredients and do not promote long-lasting wear. Although more concentrated than eau de toilette, some eau de parfum can therefore be more discreet and have a less persistent longevity depending on their formula and the perfumer's intention to make it a powerful or discreet fragrance. Also keep in mind that the same perfume can last more or less long depending on the skin of the person wearing it: it's unfair, but that's what makes the relationship with one's perfume so strong when you find the right one! Hello Joselyne. What a pity that you didn't start by ordering our Discovery Pack to get an opinion on our perfumes before splurging on a bottle. Could you clarify what you mean by "the original"? Because this perfume has been the same since our beginnings and if it didn't last, it wouldn't be the favorite of thousands of customers since 1988... Be careful not to confuse our perfume (whose formula contains more than 40% natural patchouli from Indonesia but also other ingredients as specified on its sheet) with an essential oil of patchouli for example: let's compare what is comparable. We can also understand that our perfume does not match your interpretation of patchouli, which has been influenced by all the patchouli perfumes you may have liked, which themselves contain patchouli, but not only. We sincerely wish you to find your happiness with our competitors and hope that your nose will cross paths with our perfumes again one day! Maxime

As explained in my first message, the formula of our ippi patchouli perfume contains more than 40% natural patchouli from Indonesia: it is therefore the main ingredient of this fragrance. However, we can understand that it does not match your interpretation of patchouli, which has been influenced by all the patchouli perfumes you may have liked, which also contain patchouli, but not only. Also be careful not to compare a perfume containing several ingredients (including patchouli) to a patchouli essential oil (which contains only patchouli): these will logically be two totally different scents. Hello Emilie, let's try to clarify this mystery because praline is still very much present as a base note in ippi clear patchouli, and the formula of this perfume has remained exactly the same since your last order two years ago (almost to the day). Moreover, there is no vanilla in this perfume: if you smell it, it's probably because your brain associates the scent of vanilla with that of another ingredient present in ippi clear patchouli. Be careful not to compare a new bottle with a bottle that you have had for several months or years: over time, a perfume evolves and becomes more intense, often sweeter. It is therefore normal that a freshly produced perfume and the same perfume produced a long time ago do not smell exactly the same. I think it is this natural evolution that explains the differences you perceive between the new and the old bottle, because from our side, nothing has changed! So give this new bottle a little time: its scent will also evolve over the months and you will certainly find the notes you loved... I hope you still appreciated the speed of delivery of your package and all the attentions it contained: do not hesitate to give us feedback on these points as well the next time you leave a review. (Re)Hello Carine! As explained over the phone, I am sorry that our perfume does not please you and I wish you to find your happiness with our competitors. If you had contacted us before placing your order, we would have advised you to order our Discovery Pack to test our perfumes before committing to buying a bottle... You ordered an eau de parfum for 42€ which is intended to be worn on your skin or clothing primarily. Nothing prevents you from scenting your home with it, but since its spray is sealed, you won't be able to use it in a burner (and that is not the intended use of this product, our indoor diffusers are designed to scent your home). I hope this perfume will bring joy to someone in your circle and wish you all the best for the future.

This version offers a longevity of a day to the vast majority of our customers, but it is true that the longevity of a perfume can vary from person to person, depending on the skin and the cosmetic routine of the person wearing it. If you are looking for more intensity, power, and better longevity, don't hesitate to choose the pure ippi patchouli perfume next time: the formula is the same, but it is even more concentrated! Hello Michle, and sorry if some of our fragrances are not "rich" enough for you, but can you clarify your thoughts? I am surprised because you ordered our ippi patchouli a few years ago, then recently kilim, and these are 2 perfumes built around patchouli that have body and character. If they are not intense enough for your taste, feel free to try the pure perfume version, which is even more concentrated and therefore more powerful. But perhaps you were talking about some fragrances from our sample box that you just ordered? In that case, it is true that some of our fragrances are made to be rather discreet and confidential (musk or aloe for example) and others designed to offer a beautiful trail and long-lasting presence.
