Hello Michle, and sorry if some of our fragrances are not "rich" enough for you, but can you clarify your thoughts? I am surprised because you ordered our ippi patchouli a few years ago, then recently kilim, and these are 2 perfumes built around patchouli that have body and character. If they are not intense enough for your taste, feel free to try the pure perfume version, which is even more concentrated and therefore more powerful. But perhaps you were talking about some fragrances from our sample box that you just ordered? In that case, it is true that some of our fragrances are made to be rather discreet and confidential (musk or aloe for example) and others designed to offer a beautiful trail and long-lasting presence. While some are made to be rather discreet and subtle (like musk or aloe for example), others offer a beautiful trail and long-lasting scent. However, it is important to remember that a perfume can react, smell, or last differently from one person to another, as the longevity depends a lot on the skin of the person wearing it. Don't hesitate to perfume your clothes, on which the scent will last longer, or to opt for a pure perfume that will be even more concentrated and therefore more intense than eau de parfum. Also be careful of temporary loss of smell caused by allergies or viruses, or a change in cosmetic products in your routine for example.
Finally, I concede that our samples come with a roll-on which is less practical than a spray for dosing and distributing the perfume. This may also explain the impression of lightness, which could disappear with your bottle as it is equipped with a spray.

As for their longevity, one must never forget that the same perfume can last more or less long from one person to another: there is no truth, hence the importance of testing a fragrance on your skin before falling for a bottle. We can never say it enough: the longevity of a perfume can vary from one person to another, depending on our skin and its evolution over time, the cosmetic products used... or passing viruses that can also play nasty tricks on our senses! Indeed, the pure perfume is even more concentrated than the eau de parfum, so if you like intense versions, this may be the suitable format for you. Just one thing to help you in your choice: the eau de parfum is often more than sufficient in terms of longevity/power for most fans of ippi patchouli, but I must admit that our samples, which are equipped with an ear touch (and not a spray), do not always allow for proper dosing or distribution of the perfume, and thus to get a real idea of the longevity. We are sorry that you did not have an olfactory crush with our perfume Caroline. However, we wanted to confirm that vanilla is indeed the ingredient at the heart of this fragrance: a natural vanilla from Madagascar to be precise. Be careful: as explained on the sheet of this perfume, it is not a solinote, so other ingredients mingle with the vanilla to give it depth (like caramel, almond, or tobacco). This eau de parfum generally offers good longevity, especially thanks to its sweet notes, but it is true that the longevity can vary from person to person (depending on our skin, the cosmetic products used...). Don't hesitate to perfume your clothes or hair, on which the fragrance may last longer than on your skin. Thank you for having the curiosity to test ippi patchouli and the rest of our collection with the Charlotte Discovery Pack! We would have preferred it to be a love at first scent, but sometimes it takes a little time to fully discover a fragrance. Because the formula of ippi patchouli is made up of over 40% natural patchouli from Indonesia: it is generally the ingredient that stands out the most, along with tuberose, but the beauty and complexity of the fragrance mean that we all have a different perception of a scent. You are not the only one to notice the sweet note of this fragrance, while if you ask me for my opinion, for example, I don't particularly sense it (rather in ippi patchouli light with its praline note).
