(Re)Hello Carine! As explained over the phone, I am sorry that our perfume does not please you and I wish you to find your happiness with our competitors. If you had contacted us before placing your order, we would have advised you to order our Discovery Pack to test our perfumes before committing to buying a bottle... You ordered an eau de parfum for 42€ which is intended to be worn on your skin or clothing primarily. Nothing prevents you from scenting your home with it, but since its spray is sealed, you won't be able to use it in a burner (and that is not the intended use of this product, our indoor diffusers are designed to scent your home). I hope this perfume will bring joy to someone in your circle and wish you all the best for the future.

This version offers a longevity of a day to the vast majority of our customers, but it is true that the longevity of a perfume can vary from person to person, depending on the skin and the cosmetic routine of the person wearing it. If you are looking for more intensity, power, and better longevity, don't hesitate to choose the pure ippi patchouli perfume next time: the formula is the same, but it is even more concentrated! Hello Michle, and sorry if some of our fragrances are not "rich" enough for you, but can you clarify your thoughts? I am surprised because you ordered our ippi patchouli a few years ago, then recently kilim, and these are 2 perfumes built around patchouli that have body and character. If they are not intense enough for your taste, feel free to try the pure perfume version, which is even more concentrated and therefore more powerful. But perhaps you were talking about some fragrances from our sample box that you just ordered? In that case, it is true that some of our fragrances are made to be rather discreet and confidential (musk or aloe for example) and others designed to offer a beautiful trail and long-lasting presence. While some are made to be rather discreet and subtle (like musk or aloe for example), others offer a beautiful trail and long-lasting scent. However, it is important to remember that a perfume can react, smell, or last differently from one person to another, as the longevity depends a lot on the skin of the person wearing it. Don't hesitate to perfume your clothes, on which the scent will last longer, or to opt for a pure perfume that will be even more concentrated and therefore more intense than eau de parfum. Also be careful of temporary loss of smell caused by allergies or viruses, or a change in cosmetic products in your routine for example.
Finally, I concede that our samples come with a roll-on which is less practical than a spray for dosing and distributing the perfume. This may also explain the impression of lightness, which could disappear with your bottle as it is equipped with a spray.

Our musk eau de parfum is a fragrance made to be discreet, as indicated on its sheet. It is not a perfume designed to be powerful and leave a significant trail; it is rather intended for people who enjoy confidential scents. As for their longevity, one must never forget that the same perfume can last more or less long from one person to another: there is no truth, hence the importance of testing a fragrance on your skin before falling for a bottle. It's a pity you didn't start with the purchase of our Discovery Pack, which includes samples of all our eau de parfums, allowing you to try them out calmly before deciding. Indeed, the pure perfume is even more concentrated than the eau de parfum, so if you like intense versions, this may be the suitable format for you. Just one thing to help you in your choice: the eau de parfum is often more than sufficient in terms of longevity/power for most fans of ippi patchouli, but I must admit that our samples, which are equipped with an ear touch (and not a spray), do not always allow for proper dosing or distribution of the perfume, and thus to get a real idea of the longevity. We are sorry that you did not have an olfactory crush with our perfume Caroline. However, we wanted to confirm that vanilla is indeed the ingredient at the heart of this fragrance: a natural vanilla from Madagascar to be precise. Be careful: as explained on the sheet of this perfume, it is not a solinote, so other ingredients mingle with the vanilla to give it depth (like caramel, almond, or tobacco). This eau de parfum generally offers good longevity, especially thanks to its sweet notes, but it is true that the longevity can vary from person to person (depending on our skin, the cosmetic products used...). Don't hesitate to perfume your clothes or hair, on which the fragrance may last longer than on your skin. Thank you for having the curiosity to test ippi patchouli and the rest of our collection with the Charlotte Discovery Pack! We would have preferred it to be a love at first scent, but sometimes it takes a little time to fully discover a fragrance. Because the formula of ippi patchouli is made up of over 40% natural patchouli from Indonesia: it is generally the ingredient that stands out the most, along with tuberose, but the beauty and complexity of the fragrance mean that we all have a different perception of a scent. You are not the only one to notice the sweet note of this fragrance, while if you ask me for my opinion, for example, I don't particularly sense it (rather in ippi patchouli light with its praline note). In short, the important thing is to keep a curious nose; you will find your happiness among the beautiful creations of our colleagues... or ours to come, I hope :) All the best for the future! Maxime
