The staying power of a fragrance can vary from one person to another, depending on our skin. Perhaps the "pur parfum" version would suit you better? Note that the formulas of our 3 fragrances built around patchouli (ippi patchouli, ippi patchouli clair and kilim) contain over 40% natural patchouli from Indonesia: so it's not fair to say that this fragrance doesn't smell of patchouli. On the other hand, we can hear that it doesn't match your interpretation of patchouli, which has been influenced by all the patchouli fragrances you've ever loved, themselves containing patchouli, but not only. Unfortunately, there's not much we can do about customs clearance fees: each country (outside the EU) has its own customs fees, and we can't do anything about them. The same goes for the VAT we have to pay. Declaring your parcel as a "gift" or "sample" would be illegal, and would put us in an awkward position as it is a commercial shipment. Please note that we only charge a €10 postage fee (which in reality costs us at least double) and that delivery is free in Switzerland for orders over €120. While some fragrances in our collection are designed to be discreet and confidential (musk or alõ, for example), others offer a beautiful, long-lasting trail. However, it's important to remember that a fragrance can react, smell or hold up differently from one person to another, as the way it holds up depends very much on the wearer's skin. Incidentally, you seem to have the same problem with other brands... Don't hesitate to perfume your clothes, on which the fragrance will last longer, or opt for a pure perfume, which will be even more concentrated and therefore more intense than eau de parfum. Beware, too, of temporary loss of smell caused by allergies or viruses.
Finally, I concede that our samples come with an ear touch, which is less practical than a spray bottle for dosing and distributing the fragrance. This may also explain the impression of lightness, which could disappear with your bottle, which is fitted with a spray bottle.

Did you mean that the kilim sample arrived damaged on delivery? Or were you referring to the pure kilim fragrance in your message? If so, I can confirm that we don't offer samples for pure perfumes, only for eaux de parfum. Your last order contained a bottle of the so pure perfume, while your first order was for our Discovery Pack, which contains samples of our eaux de parfum. You began by testing the sample of eau de parfum so, before ordering a bottle of pur parfum. Both versions have the same formula: the difference lies in their concentration of raw materials. As a result, the pur parfum is even more intense than the eau de parfum. Some customers may find slight olfactory nuances between eau de parfum and pur parfum: the latter being more concentrated, certain ingredients may stand out more than in eau de parfum. A slight olfactory difference can also be explained by the maceration time from one production to another.
