Concerning our ippi patchouli perfume, it has not changed but the explanation is surely elsewhere! With time, and the more we wear a perfume, our brain has a tendency to "fall asleep": as it gets used to a smell, we have the impression of not smelling our perfume anymore (or less). We can also have the impression that it has changed, because the brain then makes the effort to discover other ingredients and other notes of the perfume, less obvious to perceive at first. To fight against this natural phenomenon that affects us all after wearing the same perfume for a long time, we advise you to either change perfume for a few weeks/months to better find the smell of ippi patchouli (this would be an opportunity to test the sunny ippi patchouli CLAIR which is perfect for summer) or to switch to a higher concentration with the pure ippi patchouli perfume (the same smell but more concentrated and therefore more intense). Note that if you choose the second solution, you may find the same addiction concerns after a while... I hope this feedback will help you to better understand the origin of your problem and I'll see you soon!

The staying power of a perfume can vary from one person to another because all skins are different, but if you like the smell of it, don't hesitate to perfume your clothes or your hair, on which the perfume stays longer. You might also love pure perfume: the smell is the same but pure perfume is even more concentrated than eau de parfum, so it lasts longer on your skin and/or clothes!

The ippi patchouli eau de parfum is quite a powerful scent indeed, containing a bit of musk in the base note to set the formula together, but it is indeed the patchouli (Indonesian patchouli essence to be precise) that is highlighted in this fragrance, especially its woody and earthy facets. The beauty of Perfume lies in the fact that we can all perceive the same fragrance differently, and perceive certain notes more than others. Maybe ippi patchouli CLAIR with its citrusy top note and its gourmand touch of praline in the base note would suit you better, don't hesitate to tell us if you have the opportunity to try it... Especially since in another review you seem to be delighted with your Discovery Pack. We are the first to apologize if you didn't fall in love with these first 3 perfumes we tested and we respect your opinion about their originality: the perfume evokes different feelings for everyone. As for their staying power, it depends on several factors: each skin is different and diffuses the same perfume for more or less time. It would also be interesting to know which perfumes you have tested exactly, because if some are made to be intense and leave a trail, others are designed to be discrete and confidential. Finally, I'll grant you that the "earmuffs" that our samples are equipped with do not distribute the perfume as well as a spray bottle, which can have an effect on the duration of the perfume depending on the quantity applied. If you are a lover of intense fragrances with powerful and long-lasting scents, don't hesitate to opt for our pure perfumes, which are even more concentrated in raw materials than our eaux de parfum. The persistence of a perfume, i.e. how long it stays on the skin, depends on several factors: its formula (some perfumes are created to be powerful and others to be discreet), its concentration in raw materials (an eau de toilette is less concentrated than an eau de parfum, and an eau de parfum less concentrated than a pure perfume for example) and above all your skin (on two different skins, the same perfume will be diffused more or less powerfully and some notes will stand out more than others). The Discovery Pack you ordered contains samples of our 13 eaux de parfum: if some of them are not powerful enough for you, don't hesitate to opt for a pure perfume! The smell will be the same but the pure perfume is more intense and will last longer on your skin or clothes, hair... Perfume is fascinating because everyone interprets and feels it in a very personal way: tuberose is indeed present in our ippi patchouli fragrance but it is only a minor ingredient in its composition, as well as the sunny side mentioned which is discreet in this fragrance but much more present in its "clear" version (of which you received a sample). On the other hand, the main ingredient of this perfume is patchouli, with its earthy and woody facets, although it is quite possible that your olfactory sensitivity will perceive more other notes. As for the staying power of a perfume, it depends a lot on your skin. Yours must be greedy and drink the perfume quickly, because the ippi patchouli eau de parfum has been designed to leave a powerful trail behind your steps, during the whole day or almost. We clearly state on our website that our perfumes are mixed Laurent: some fragrances are more feminine or masculine than others, but it depends a lot on the taste and olfactory culture of each person! Did you know that in the Middle East, for example, many men wear very floral fragrances, whereas flowers are considered feminine in the West? Raw materials have no gender, so why try to put perfumes in boxes? As long as you like a perfume, it is made for you, forget the codes...
