We're the first to apologize when the magic between our fragrances and your skin doesn't work, but if our customers had to wear perfume every hour, we'd have gone out of business long ago 😅 While some fragrances in our collection are made to be rather discreet and confidential (musk or alõ, for example), others offer a beautiful sillage and a long afterglow. However, it's important to remember that a fragrance can react, smell or hold up differently from one person to another, as the way it holds up depends very much on the wearer's skin. Don't hesitate to perfume your clothes, on which the fragrance will last longer, or opt for a pure perfume, which will be even more concentrated and therefore more intense than eau de parfum. A big THANK YOU for this valuable and constructive feedback Jean-Yves. Our ippi patchouli fragrance is composed of 40% natural Indonesian patchouli, which is the main ingredient in the formula. But as you can see from its description, it also contains other ingredients that add personality and depth to the fragrance with which we began our adventure in 1988! Your last order contained a bottle of the so pure perfume, while your first order was for our Discovery Pack, which contains samples of our eaux de parfum. You began by testing the sample of eau de parfum so, before ordering a bottle of pur parfum. Both versions have the same formula: the difference lies in their concentration of raw materials. As a result, the pur parfum is even more intense than the eau de parfum. Some customers may find slight olfactory nuances between eau de parfum and pur parfum: the latter being more concentrated, certain ingredients may stand out more than in eau de parfum. A slight olfactory difference can also be explained by the maceration time from one production to another. In this case, don't hesitate to perfume your clothes, on which the fragrance will last longer, or opt for a pure perfume, which will be even more concentrated and therefore more intense than eau de parfum. Finally, I concede that our samples come with an ear touch, which is less practical than a spray bottle, which would enable the fragrance to be better dosed and distributed. This may also explain the impression of lightness, which could disappear with your bottle as it is fitted with a spray bottle.
