We are also disappointed if you are not fully satisfied Karyne. You say that our ippi patchouli fragrance doesn't "smell like patchouli", but what do you mean by that? This fragrance features Indonesian patchouli indeed, but this ingredient is surrounded by other raw materials to give it contrast and depth as we state on the fragrance sheet. Also it would be interesting to know how you yourself describe the smell of patchouli, as we all have a different interpretation of a smell, and often we refer to fragrances in which the ingredient described was also surrounded by other ingredients. However, we are a little surprised by your comment about the "little scent" of this fragrance which is one of the most powerful in our collection. This perfume is our very first creation dating back to 1988 and since then, its followers praise its persistence (how it stays on the skin). Especially since you ordered the eau de parfum (already highly concentrated in raw materials, therefore powerful by nature) and the pure perfume (even more concentrated therefore more intense), but also the candle which contains more than 10% of perfume, which is a lot, believe us. But perhaps your skin particularly drinks the perfumes in which case we advise you to perfume your clothes or hair for example, on which the perfume will act longer. We are at least relieved that you appreciated the speed of our team to process your order and the quality of the service provided, and I hope that time will make you appreciate our iconic ippi patchouli: this is the magic of Perfume which is alive and can always surprise us! So let's reassure you right away, Marie: we have never modified the formula of ippi patchouli since its creation in 1988, nor its concentration of raw materials! We pay great attention to the quality of our perfumes and we have been working for over 30 years with the same manufacturer who has systematic and particularly thorough control processes. In addition, we fill each bottle by hand in our workshop, which allows us to check the perfume one last time when it is bottled. But our brain can play tricks on us and our nose can "fall asleep" over time, giving us the impression that a perfume has changed or that it smells less. In this case, don't hesitate to change perfume temporarily to better come back and rediscover your first love. For example, you could wear ippi patchouli in autumn/winter and ippi patchouli clear in spring and summer! If you're looking for more intensity, try ippi patchouli pure perfume: it smells the same as the eau de parfum, but the pure perfume is more concentrated in raw materials and therefore even more intense.
