I can confirm that the bottle you ordered is indeed an eau de parfum, but I understand that your experience may depend on the intensity of the perfumes you're used to wearing. If you're looking for more intensity, don't hesitate to try the pure ippi patchouli perfume, which is even more concentrated than the eau de parfum! Thank you for your curiosity in testing our Patricia fragrances: we're very sorry if you didn't find what you were looking for. If our fragrances didn't hold up, we'd probably no longer be here, 35 years after the creation of our first perfume. So it's worth trying to understand why you felt that way. While some fragrances in our collection are designed to be discreet and confidential (musk or alõ, for example), others offer a beautiful trail and a long afterglow. But it's important to remember that a fragrance can react, smell or hold up differently from one person to another, because how it holds up depends very much on the wearer's skin. What's more, sports and perspiration will alter the way a fragrance holds up: try them on a normal day to see if you notice any difference. Don't hesitate to perfume your clothes, on which the fragrance will last longer, or opt for a pure perfume, which will be even more concentrated and therefore more intense than eau de parfum.
Last but not least, our samples come with an ear bud, which is admittedly less practical than a spray bottle for dosing and distributing the fragrance. This may also explain the impression of lightness, which could disappear with your bottle, as the latter is equipped with a spray bottle. I hope that these elements will enable you to test our fragrances in other conditions, and that the magic with your skin will work! We are the first ones to be disappointed when a curious nose does not find its total happiness among our Karim fragrances. We would not be celebrating our 35th anniversary this year if our fragrances did not hold up. On the other hand, it is true that the durability of a perfume can vary from one person to another depending on our skin. It also takes time for our brain to get used to new fragrances and discover all their facets. I sincerely hope that you will find your happiness with other perfumes from our collection (maybe try the pure perfumes which are even more concentrated and therefore more intense) or with our fellow perfumers. However, we are surprised by your message, because the 12 eaux de parfum that you were able to test thanks to our Discovery Pack are all very different. From the discreet musk to the powerful kilim, from the floral label rose to the woody and earthy ippi patchouli, from the aromatic alfred kafé to the marine ïōdé or from the gourmand vanilla to the festive alõ to name a few, we find it hard to compare. Some perfumes belong to the same olfactory family (musky ones are represented by musk and original musk, oriental ones by ippi patchouli, kilim or so for example), but we try to build, perfume by perfume, a balanced and varied collection. We sincerely wish you to find the perfume you are looking for with our fellow perfumers! Don't hesitate to offer your Discovery Pack to a loved one, hoping that it will make someone else happy... Thank you for this feedback Veronique: our shipments are mixed with other large packages of several tens of kilos on the delivery lines of our carrier, and it can indeed happen that some of them get banged up and that our protections are not enough.
