Excellent quality. Easy installation. I would however recommend clarifying if the strings connected to the benders are to pass through the bridge holes or go directly to the rollers from the benders.

There need to be much clearer instructions on how to adjust the benders. They are much stiffer than I realized, and I'm not sure if I will be able to slowly rock on and off of the benders. The workmanship and quality are absolutely top notch!

Love my C L 3 . Needed alternative to my pedal steel after breaking my left foot, and this worked very well for me. High quality instrument, though it took a little while to adjust bender to my liking but some of that may have just been me getting used to the bender.

I received my C.L.3 lap steel only one week after ordering it, and after playing it for two weeks now, I can honestly say I am very impressed. The delivery was fast, and the instrument was packaged very well and safely. From the moment I opened the case, the design immediately invited me to start playing. Not only does it look great, but it also sounds absolutely amazing. I use lap steel as a secondary instrument, so I did not want to spend too much money. At the same time, I really wanted a lap steel with both a humbucker and a bender system. The C.L.3 has everything I was looking for, and at a very reasonable price. I also appreciated the personal note included by David Certano, with explanations about how the bender system works. That personal touch made the experience even better. The lap steel arrived tuned to Open E by David Certano himself, and I quickly discovered that this tuning works very well for me. Perfect match for the palm benders

…works beautifully. It took a little mire time to arrive than usual…pity no stickers anymore but hey…it works great and doesn’t break my Thomast-Infeld JS113 strings. I now have identical instruments and will carry on playing daily until I can no longer perform.

Easy transaction. I had a couple questions prior to purchase and David responded within hours. I ordered, pkg arrived in Canada a week later. The benders are currently being installed on a new steel build so I haven't tested yet, however I have played multiple steels with Certano's and the quality is pro. Hence my reason for purchasing these for the new steel:)
