I love the benders and bridge! Great quality, they look ace and the effect on my new lapsteel adds a whole new dimension to my playing. Well worth the money! The passage to Australia was a bit worrying though. No communication whatsoever from the freight company, no waybill, no tracking number, no notification of arrival, no failed delivery notice, no notice that they were sitting it the local post office. I didn't even know who the freight company was until I emailed David, who gave me the info and I chased them down. So in summary, 5+ stars for the benders, 1 star for the freight company. Hi...Well I had to pay duty and tax coming into Canada...but the Bender arrived early. I looked at some online instruction for installation and things went smoothly and I am very pleased at the craftsmanship of your product...I have been playing my Fender Esquire with the Bender installed every day and am surprised at the possible ways to use this item...takes a bit of learning but I really like your Bender and it looks great on my guitar. Website design and navigation good. Good descriptions. Not much detail on the site about the pickup, though. Needs more demos of the steel. David was quick to respond to emails.

I have looked at other benders and was not impressed by their design and workmanship. My father was a machinist and when I opened the box I knew he would have been as pleased as I was ! David Certano, is a noted maestro with the guitar, and also a master luthier of his patented Lap Steel with benders. I had received his hand crafted Certano CL-1 from his shop in France to my home on Cape Cod USA in just 2 days. It is the BEST lap steel with all hand built quality parts. It is extremely resonant and remains in tune....a beautiful instrument that you will treasure playing onstage or in the recording studio.
