Certano benders for Lapsteel arrived ahead of estimated delivery time!! Well Packaged..easy installation to my Recording King Lapsteel..makes it sound like an expensive pedal steel!! Great Tool for pedal steel sounds from a lap steel. I ordered a roller nut to fit my Gretsch G5700 Lapsteel, but sadly, the delired nut does not fit the Gretsch... ☹️

David Certano is a nice guy to communicate with, and will respond to any questions right away ( taking into consideration time difference.) His CL1 lap steel is high quality. The action height and spacing is really good, and the roller nut, roller bridge, tuners and benders quality is exceptional. This is a great instrument and a great price. I have successfully fitted a Certano G & B bender to a USA Standard Tele. The fitting was a bit of a challenge because it does not have the ashtray bridge, however I have it all working. The bender is high quality and works flawlessly. The only problem I have come across is when playing, and wanting to palm mute strings, moving the bender aside and then back means that the mounting screws loosen so it flops about. I am experimenting with additional nylon washers to compensate. If you are looking for a bender to retrofit to a Telecaster this is an excellent choice but don’t underestimate the alterations necessary to the tail piece and individual bridge blocks for a USA standard (non ashtray) type bridge.

An exciting precision made addition to my Gretsch lap steel. They sound fabulous. Now I will order a set for my Fender Telecaster. I suggest ordering the roller bridge along with the B and G benders. Thanks Mr. Certano.

The Certano guitar string bender I received is amazing, the installation was straightforward, the product finish is top notch. Playing results are exactly what I was looking for. My Fender Telecaster stays in tune for long periods. I’m very happy with this product and plan on buying another for a different guitar Im very happy!!

The product arrived in perfect shape, can't wait to install it. I wish customs would have done a better job resealing the box after cutting it open, that one piece of tape left the box partially open which could have resulted in receiving an empty box! I know that's not Certano's fault, just figured I'd put it out there though.

I ordered a roller bridge to go along with the benders I had purchased earlier. David shipped the next day and I received it a couple days later via DHL. The installation was super easy due to the provided mounting template. The bender and bridge are top notch. I am very happy. Now all is left for me to do is learn how to play the darn thing.
