The benders work better than expected and are very enjoyable to use.

Shipping was prompt and the product is as high-quality as advertised. Installation is easy. I must say, however, that the Telecaster-bender model I got is going to make me modify the Squire Stinger-Tele I bought specifically for the purpose: the Stinger doesn’t have the same bridge arrangement (there are six bridges, one for each string, instead of three two-string bridges like a traditional Tele), the stings don’t thread through the body but, rather, thread through holes in the beefy ‘ashtray’ that are directly below the bridge-stem hole —altogether making it difficult to string, and to avoid the B and G strings from rubbing on the top edge of their respective holes (the angle is just barely sufficient on the Stinger-Tele no matter how far or close I mount the bender). Put another way, where various installers recommend filing a notch in the traditional Tele ashtray so the B and G strings may pass unimpeded, such is either very difficult to do or impossible on the Squire Stinger-Tele. It might be possible to relieve some stainless-steel material —make the string-hole bigger—but since the bridge-stem hole is directly above the string hole, there isn’t much material there anyway. Still, it’s a tiny angle of difference… Not to worry. I bought the Squire so’s not to drill holes or file notches in my real Telecaster, so I don’t mind modifying the Squire in whatever way is required. I presented my dilemma to a band mate who’s going to find me a traditional ashtray and three double-bridge arrangement which I’ll refit onto the new Squire. After all, that’s what I bought it for: I can do any modifications I want that I would never do to my real Tele. That I want to keep original. Overall, the bender works just fine—and I love it! (I play in a country-and-western band from time to time but don’t have the wherewithal to buy or accommodate a real pedal-steel guitar). This will do until I make the necessary modifications on the Squire. I enjoy doing it and I’m in no hurry. That is, I’m happily retired with a house full of guitars and books—and a wife who’s away a substantial part of the year taking care of our granddaughter in Vancouver. I can make all the racket I want. My rating: five thumbs-up (which is often how my playing sounds). The Certano palm-bender is a very cool thing, works great and looks really nice on my cherry-red Squire Tele. Thank you very much! Scotty on Denman Island, British Columbia

I ordered the roller nut and bridge and the bender. I’m very happy with my purchase. I’m fairly new to the lap steel. I have a Recording King and I decided to build a new lap steel. I saw the bender on YouTube and whet to the site I liked the roller nut and bridge, so I ordered all 3 items. I live in the states and was surprised how fast I received my order. The quality of the craftsmanship is wonderful. I sat and looked at these parts for a couple days and decided to upgrade my Recording King with the bender and bridge. Very easy to install and setup. So glade I decided not to wait for the new build to use the bender. However there is one big problem with the Certano hardware, I will need to order another roller bridge and bender soon for the new build. Thank you David Certano.

Amazing benders, stays in tune, probably gonna order a set for my telecaster now since they were so good for my steel.

Although a little unconventional, my installation went very well. I put a Certano Telecaster Blender on a Supro Westbury, which required mounting it behind the tailpiece and drilled through the metal mount of that tailpiece. It's low height fit the tailpiece perfectly without need for modification. It works perfectly in this configuration. IMG_5684.JPG
