No worries, this point clarifies easily. The lenses you ordered, like all our single solar lenses, are category 3. To give you a reference, solar lenses are classified from 0 to 4. It is quite possible that your original lenses were category 4: this is the darkest tint, but it is actually not recommended for driving as it reduces visibility too much. We chose to offer slightly less tinted lenses, category 3, which provide strong protection while remaining suitable for the vast majority of uses, including driving.
