Indeed, the flat cap has been sold for 10 years in our hat shop in Roanne and to date we have not had such dissatisfaction. And for the caps of the Bards brand, we also sell them in-store at 4 rue de Cadore in Roanne and our customers as well as the children who wear them are satisfied with their quality.
It is therefore very interesting to understand the issues encountered with the caps in order to relay this to our manufacturers.

The hat was too big. The return process went perfectly. However, the return postage was at my expense at full price. Ideally, the return should be free to ease concerns about sizing. At a minimum, a negotiated rate between Traclet and a carrier that the customer could benefit from. It cost me €12 to try on a hat. That’s too expensive and I will think twice before renewing the experience. Best regards, William

The site, the choice, the payment, and the delivery are good. However, I am annoyed by the stupid concept of the 'one size' hat, a hat must have a diameter! What to do with a hat that falls over your eyes! Out of 4 hats ordered, only the 'one size' hat turns out to be way, way too big. I just got tricked and now I have to hassle to return it. So factual waste in terms of time, money, ecology. It's useless.

Regarding the quality of the straw, we can do it with finer straw but the price will be double because our straw is already of classic quality but a finer one will give a hat at around 120 euros. Then as we indicate, the ribbon is in velvet and not in ortolan. As a manufacturer, it is possible to do everything, however, the price will not be the same. For the Bicorne, you requested the Bicorne in size 52-53 and you wanted to modify the size which we accepted and we had at least a few phone calls regarding this size modification issue. We are sorry for this delivery delay but it takes time to manufacture, especially with this size change we took care of the urgent shipping at our expense. Finally, what issue of deformation on this model that we manufacture for the army museum in Paris as well as the Emperor's museums. Thus, we can improve the hat.
