The "Laguiole" folding knives offered by Honoré Durand are of excellent quality, the choice is wide and everyone will find THE knife of their choice (a "must have"). The site is pleasant and well illustrated, however the navigation seems to me could be improved, especially in the case of an optional choice when ordering. I also appreciated the related aspects around the Laguiole (historical, regional, use, ...).

First of all, I must congratulate you on the packaging of the order which was particularly well cared for and totally protected the parcel. The set of knives is really what I wanted. On the other hand, I am a little disappointed by the box containing the knives, the finish of the wood is not very noble. For the next order I hope to have a more polished box. These boxes are made locally (i.e. in France) and it's not easy to find quality boxes "made in France" at a reasonable and acceptable price. I find it a little disappointing for a company such as LAGUIOLE HONORÉ DURANT, not to have a well-made knife for everyday use for a price of around 130 euros (I bought a knife with a slight defect, a poorly-fitting bolster and a few traces of dirt on the handle), which begs the question: what's the point of buying a knife from certain professional cutlers when a chinoiserie can do the job for everyday use? I'm not a knife collector, I own a few dozen knives, I like a job well done, I have a few knives by Jean Michel CAYRON (Damascus blade), DOMINIQUE BIONDI etc ... Sincerely, M LIGORI

Very nice knife, despite a few flaws on the fly, for example, which are certainly due to the fact that it had to be produced a little too quickly. Apart from a few finishing errors, the product is nevertheless of very good quality!

My companion is happy with his knife. The only negative point is that the carbon blade (steel in fact) rusts, and I didn't know that. It's not clearly indicated on the site. Had I known, I would have ordered a stainless steel blade for 7€ more. As a result, he can't use it for every meal. It's a shame.

To say that you can have your order delivered by chronopost the next day before 1pm, at €26.10 for postage, and to have it arrive two days later is very disappointing! All because it takes you 1.5 days to get to the post office... Give your customers the right information! This is unacceptable!

It is clearly and explicitly indicated that "if you have a precise date to respect, we advise you to take an additional margin of 1 day and to indicate it to us either by e-mail ([email protected]) or at the time of the order (box "Comments")" which you did not do. The parcel left the day after you placed your order. This is why your request for reimbursement of the full Chronopost cost was refused, quite rightly I believe. We take good note of it, but it's a shame to blame us for the poor quality of the Post Office's service. For our part, you ordered on 13/12 at 10H44, the parcel left the next day Thursday 14/12; I think that our service in relation to your order was exemplary. I've just seen that the parcel will be delivered to you today. Finally, please note that we also offer Chronopost on our website, but also that we are in the countryside and that Koala-like services are non-existent for the collection of our parcels.
