They responded very kindly to my subsequent order and added it to the package of the first order. Unfortunately, the postage costs are very high. The assembly instructions are not really usable: the translated text is incomprehensible and the exploded drawing did not belong to my knife. It goes without saying that a do-it-yourself kit should also include the necessary tools. How am I supposed to know which of the individual tools on offer I will need? A mini bottle of wood oil would be nice!

A magnificent knife, very well made, I can feel that it was made with love for a job well done. One small downside, it wasn't sharpened. I claimed Whit Sunday by e-mail, and on Whit Monday, Monsieur Durand replied to my e-mail and sent me a link to edit a return slip. It's remarkable that they took the time to follow up my complaint on a public holiday.
I'd like to point out that this is an exceptional achievement by a person who is totally committed to his company and respectful of his customers. I recommend this company and its website, you can buy with confidence. I thank Mr Honoré Durant and his team and I will order from them again, another or other exceptional knives. Bravo continue like this to make us magnificent pieces and to pamper your customers.

We can greatly improve ergonomics by automatically setting the account holder's address as the billing and delivery address (boxes checked), and the customer only has to uncheck what he wants to change... when he unchecks, the site suggests entering a new address. I'm French, and proud of it. Cock-a-doodle-doo! I'm also a collector of French folding knives... So, Laguiole, I know it well. My knives sit in a display case. I just look at them, the wood has a soft, warm, even carnal look... Having traveled a bit, I've always praised Laguiole, but I only use my knives to open the mail! I pamper them. Your site is a bit cluttered. I'd like it to be more instinctive. As for the rest, everything's been perfect, with one drawback: the PDO! It's distressing to receive "Laguiole" as gifts with foie gras... Unfortunately, we can't rewrite history. So, long live the real knives, the ones we can only be very proud of. Happy cutting!
