Very good quality knife. The juniper wood is lighter compared to what I'm used to (more orange tones) but you can really feel the artisanal side of the knife, and the beauty of the guilloche. I recommend!

The knife that your workshop made for me is truly a work of art, it breathes all the excellence of French craftsmanship. I ordered a mammoth ivory handle, with ivory crust bolsters, and the spring is superbly chiseled by a master hand. I always carry it with me and I requested a visit to the workshop to learn about its manufacturing process, the blade is made of Damascus steel, forged at Atelier Durand, I have an exceptional knife, I am more than satisfied, the adjustments are within microns, for a demanding cabinetmaker, it is simply a magnificent gift, I never tire of looking at it, of constantly taking it out of its case, of feeling the softness of the ivory, the relief of the Damascus blade, the fineness of the chisel work on the spring... I never respond to satisfaction surveys, unless they come from artisans, not from merchants of industrial products... It is a house that I highly recommend, it embodies all the centuries-old know-how of our regions and the great tradition of the Laguiole knife from Laguiole... I am proud to have this knife with me, and I consider that every cent spent was worth it, it is an exceptional knife that I hope to keep for my whole life... This is my second ivory knife, but this one, with the ivory crust bolsters, which are of the most beautiful effect with brown and blue reflections, this one is simply splendid, it would make a fetishist of the object a vague amateur of Opinel... In summary, I am more than satisfied with my acquisition, it is an exceptional knife, a work of art made by a master craftsman, in a brand that I highly recommend, I have eight real and beautiful laguiole knives, I am a collector, but this one is exceptional, I even hesitated to order another one from you, but unfortunately I no longer have the means... Very nice finish, a Laguiole worthy of the name, the only thing that bothered me is at the level of the handle which is made of light horn but one side is gray and the other side is more brown, but it's just a small detail that doesn't take away from the very nice quality and finish. This shows that in France we still have very good craftsmen and exceptional know-how.
