The delivery was fast, the goods (knives and whetstone) were packed very securely, and the goods are also great!
The only thing I find impractical is the navigation when ordering: instead of "hundreds of knives" I would prefer to see a selection of features (material for handle, type of steel, size, blade shape, type of bee, ...). Perhaps a drawing with measurements would also be useful, because my first impression of the knife when I unpacked it was that it was rather small - perhaps I would have ordered the next size up if I had seen the measurements.

Very responsive to readjust and complete my order. Exchange of emails and telephone reception extremely friendly and efficient. On the other hand, I give a zero score to the Colissimo service (which fortunately does not depend on La Coutellerie). The deliveryman calls me on the intercom and informs me that he's leaving the parcel in the driveway of my building. I can't say anything. Of course, there was no signature and no possibility of making the slightest reservation if that had proved necessary. Lousy postal service. Fortunately, the quality of the product and the service make up for this lamentable service.

It is possible to personally configure the knives here. And it's not my first knife. The customer service responds quickly and is very friendly, but you should be aware of this. Outside in the supermarkets or other stores, there are many who copy the Laguiole design or keep to the quality. Here you have the opportunity to buy directly from the manufacturer in France and can therefore be sure of receiving excellent quality. Years later, I am still delighted with the workmanship and edge retention of Honore Durand (Laguiole) knives.

So far I have bought four kits for Laguiole knives (12 and 11 cm, steel and brass).
The purchase process and delivery went smoothly every time. The products are correctly and sufficiently described. For those who can and want to think a little, the translations into German and the ordering process are no problem at all. Of course, you have to be able to read correctly that the kits are suitable for people with manual skills and require manual finishing, then you won't experience any unpleasant surprises. The kits have turned out to be wonderful, valuable knives.
My special requests were also fulfilled as far as possible. I got to know Mr. Honoré Durand as a humorous, sociable, accommodating person (unfortunately not in person, but only through correspondence).
