Hello Madam, Thank you for your message. The handles of our forged bee range are systematically made from 7 mm thick wooden plates; the thickness of the plates is then adapted (at each end of the handle) to the height of the bolsters, which are thinner; consequently, the thickness only remains in the middle of the knife and the curve is thus obtained between the thinner part towards the bolsters and the thicker part towards the middle of the handle. Very original idea for fans of the brand and DIY enthusiasts. The description is a bit confusing, with/without engraving, etc. I clicked on 'kit' and was taken to another page. Validation very easy, payment reliable, order ready the day after my order! delivery as fast as possible and often informed! Top packaging, well protected and my kit is gift-wrapped! I'm waiting to see what's inside when I give it as a gift. Purchase is just one recommendation away, but I also validate this 200%.
