Quality of the blade spring. The quality of the spring that holds the blade open is inferior to that of my previously purchased Laguiole Durant knives. As a result, the pressure of the blade in the open position is soft, and the blade does not spring back strongly when the blade is opened even slightly – let's say an angular opening of one to two millimeters and even a little more.

Perfect work: I just received my traditional Laguiole with corkscrew in less than 4 days.<br />The finish is perfect, not the slightest defect or trace. The wood of the handle (juniper) is a very beautiful wood.<br /><br />The sharpening of the 14C28 stainless steel blade is much more resistant than the 12C27 stainless steel.<br />Congratulations to all the people involved in making this knife.

Art on our table: Amazed is the word for the 2 knives we've just received, engraved with our names. At this level, it's quite simply art. Well done to the craftsmen who have worked so hard to produce pieces of such beauty and quality. I can't recommend the Layole.com website enough for those who love the "beautiful". What's more, the people who answer the phone are extremely kind and patient. Which is a great quality when, like me, I made a mistake with my order.
