Hello Sir, Thank you for your opinion and rating; it's not easy to reply to your rather subjective criticisms, but I'll try: - regarding the blade, you've used the new 14C28 steel, which we didn't make ten years ago; in terms of the feel of the edge, it may seem less effective, but it cuts better and also lasts longer after sharpening; so we'll have to see in the long term - regarding the fact that it's less attractive, you didn't have this model of knife before... because we haven't changed anything since we made the model you bought.... because we haven't changed a thing since we started making the model you bought - as for the price, it has indeed changed in ten years ... too bad the traditional rivets have been replaced by screws; for me, in stag horn, I "screwed up"" the heads and so I riveted the screws, which in any case seems to me to be more in the spirit of the period and places the handle more firmly on the metal

I was very satisfied throughout the entire purchasing process, right up to delivery. The knives are exactly what I ordered, except that the 7 notches on the top of the blade were not made. This was one of my selection criteria and I'm disappointed that the delivery was not as shown in the photo.

Delivery, speed ... Perfect. Of the 2 knives ordered, one matched, but the other did not match the image I selected. The selected knife had a lot of stains in the wood and the one received is blank on one side and a few small black dots on the other. I'm disappointed with this knife! With kind regards

Delivery and site impec Pour les layole a monter soime il est dommage de ne pas avoir le choix de l'acier pour la lame je préfere en lame inox mat et j'ai changé les vis pour le manche car embout trop spécifique de meme j'aurais préféré une lame plus longue le chiix est trop limité dans cette gamme a monter soime c'est pour cela que je met 4 etoiles au lieu de 5 Mais j'ai eu le plaisir de le monter et j'ai mis un manche en orme aucune mauvaise critique juste des remarques
