I bought red vanilla on sale and I think I know why it was cheaper: it was not very fresh, probably from last year's harvest and has been in a vacuum envelope since (much less good preservation than in rum). It breaks easily, and has little powder and therefore little taste even when infused for a long time. That said, at this price, it's understandable. On my next order, I will check the harvest date from the country in question and will order just after. I will leave a more favorable review if this future attempt is successful. The other spices are good, but be careful with the toxic Tonka bean quite quickly, it deserves to be specified!!

Great service. Always a little gift. The vanilla pods are really good, I use them for all my desserts and then I put them in sugar to reuse. I also tried a black sesame praline, it was delicious.
Top vanilla pod with an exceptional aroma and taste. I made my apricot jams with vanilla and it gives an extra fine taste. I also made a beautiful floating island and many other desserts. After use, I wash the pod, let it dry, and put it in sugar, which gives me a killer vanilla sugar.

Not all pods are equal, some are really too thin and too dry. The price is correct compared to the quality.
