Package declared as delivered by the company but nothing received! The seller also refuses responsibility! If all small sellers have this type of after-sales service, it's not hard to see the majority of customers turning to platforms like Amazon!!!

I placed an order of €132 at David Vanille. Upon receipt, 50 vanilla pods were missing. This is a very uncomfortable situation because I have no proof of this absence other than my sincerity. I immediately wrote to DavidVanille to report the problem. I reproduce verbatim their final response: 'Hello, Impossible because of internal videos and photos. We cannot change the mindset of fraudulent customers.' I do not dispute the fact that at the time of the video and internal photos, the vanilla was indeed present. This does not prove that it was still there at the time of the package closure. And in any case, it was not present in the package upon arrival. So, not only did I not receive the paid vanilla, but I am also insulted. This insinuation of being a fraudulent customer is deeply insulting and has really hurt me. I will certainly not forget this affront, which is all the more regrettable because the delivered products are of good quality.
I do not recommend this site, not reliable at all! Order placed on 31/10/2021 and to this day I have never received anything but apparently I am not the only one in this case. The seller did not want to know anything, the only thing he could say was 'delivered is delivered' while no, sorry I received nothing in my mailbox. Do not order on this site.
I never received my order. I called the seller and they told me they couldn't do anything and that I had to contact the postal service... Money spent on vanilla never received. Disappointed!

The envelope arrived empty. No gesture or solution proposed by the seller.
I ordered vanilla pods and I am not happy, the pods were too dry and unusable, they went to the trash along with my money.
If you threw away those vanilla pods, you were very wrong. It's my favorite vanilla.

Very dry vanilla
3 weeks of waiting for the order, no shipping, sale canceled for "more convenience" for the merchant of course. No offer for replacement or delivery within another timeframe. I saw bad comments despite that I gave it a chance but here we are. Not serious despite beautiful promises of passion and love for the product from the gentleman.
Your package was lost by the post. Given your tension in your emails, we preferred to refund you.
My business is not an e-commerce factory and I do not wish for it to become one. There is no machine in the workshop.
We do our best as much as possible.

Just the delivery that I received as expected, otherwise to avoid if you want quality Madagascar vanilla beans.
Very dry vanilla pods, no smell or taste. Maybe just bad luck with my 75 pods purchased.
Perfect for delivery and navigation on the site, nothing to complain about. However, a ZERO POINT for the products!!!! the pods are not pods but pieces of dry wood. I just opened one and tasted it, it's sand without flavor, that crunches under the teeth!! I am really disappointed! I was hoping to make a good rice pudding!!!! I expected wide and fleshy pods, a bit like the 'gold'... and well thick for the gold! How can such bad products be exported?!
You purchased Bourbon Gold XXL vanilla pods and Madagascar Bourbon Red / 'Gold Medal' vanilla.
Each sheet precisely describes each quality. If a moist vanilla is for you a quality vanilla, I can do nothing more.
Should I practice selling pods with 40% humidity and you tell me it's beautiful and qualitative?
More seriously, reread my explanations and do not rely on appearances. My Bourbon Red vanillas are the most acclaimed by my top chefs. The habit does not make the monk, it is also true for vanilla.

I am unfortunately very disappointed with the quality of the vanilla pods: - which are very dry and must therefore be soaked in hot water to be split in two, - which are very small in width, forcing the use of a whole pod when usually half is enough, - which are very little fragrant, - the product is not worth more than the amount charged. In summary, the experience was not conclusive.
We have 625 positive reviews on this origin which is our Coup de Foudre source.
The aromatic profile is quite different from Bourbon vanilla, spicier and more floral.
The pods are sold in aged quality and detailed explanations are visible on the product sheet.

Package received very quickly. On this point, nothing to complain about. However, I ordered 20 Ugandan vanilla pods + 20 free. Only 10 pods out of the 40 are plump. The other 30 are ultra dry and either completely flat or very thin. I don't know how I'm going to manage to split them. I am very disappointed. I thought I was getting a good deal but that's far from the case. I feel like they are taking advantage of this offer to sell the unsellable. I sent them an email upon receiving the package but still no news. I am really disappointed because I relied on reviews, some said it was quality and others that they were dry and well I should have avoided. I am even more disappointed by their silence which I find unprofessional.
Back from my trip, here is my response:
We have checked the photos of the vanilla pods sent, everything is in order. The pods are beautiful and from the same batch as our other positive comments.
Our promotions are not aimed at liquidating stock, simply acquiring new customers.

I did not receive my order. I therefore informed you. Furthermore, I wrote 3 complaints to COLISSIMO post from which I received the same recommendations three times that had no reason to exist. I even called and was advised to file a complaint for a fee of 120€. Yes! For an order of about thirty euros! SCANDALOUS! At the post office, I learned that this kind of problem has been frequent in recent months.
Your order was delivered by colissimo on Friday, January 8. We invited you to contact colissimo to receive a certificate of poor delivery (usual mailman) and to file a complaint with the gendarmerie or the nearest police station.
Once these elements are in our hands, we can proceed with a refund.
If applicable, according to our T&Cs, this opens the door to all kinds of abuse from certain customers.

It could have been a great experience if I had received my entire order, several emails and texts sent with supporting photos and no response. I would have liked a reaction because I bought 5 vanilla pods and only received two pods in the bag!!!!!
We received your first email Thursday afternoon and did not have time to process it. Sorry for not being able to respond to you sooner. The workshop's mobile does not respond to customer service. Customer service is easily available at 07 68 20 84 20.

We ordered on January 5, were notified that the order was in delivery on January 7, and then again on January 13. In the end, we only received the pods on January 17... We are far from the deadlines mentioned on the site and will probably not order here in the future.
Beware of scam! I placed my order (by the way without free shipping, but okay...) and after a long wait, this order was not delivered. I then send a message to DV to explain the problem but they hide behind their T&Cs to tell me they will do nothing. Unbelievable! Where all other online merchants either resend an order or look for solutions, DV takes your money and leaves you in trouble. Clearly, they do not understand what a customer is and will stop at nothing to collect euros at all costs. In short, to be avoided absolutely!
The responses given to dissatisfied customers are turned into mockery.
Unfortunately, my package arrived empty..... where is my order???? The response from the post office is that the weight was the same with them as at my home and the seller hides behind that!!!! So for my part, very disappointed and I strongly advise against shopping on this site.....
Remember to rate after a few months and not at reception. Just over 2 months after my order, my pods are starting to mold! They are perfectly preserved in perfectly sterilized glass tubes! As I have always done, I have pods from other sellers from 2016 still in perfect condition. After contacting the seller, he tells me it's my fault for not following his preservation advice! He gives me a link to his site where his preservation advice is either freezing (!!) or preserving in alcohol... You can verify it yourself!!! He himself does not trust the quality of his vanilla!
