Did you read the description and title of the product? No.
For Tahitian vanilla, for a pod at 40% humidity, this is impossible.

Never disappointed with my orders until my last order. I found the Madagascar pods much less beautiful than the previous ones. I had a referral code, however indicated during the order, but it was not applied to receive my referral gift. For the rest of my order (sugar, spices...), I am satisfied

I ordered 2 lots of XS Red Papua Vanilla Pods. I did not expect to see dry and hard pods. I don’t know what to do with them, as for the rest of my order there is nothing to say, the spices smell divine.

The expiration date of the 3 boxes of saffron that were delivered to me is 11/2023 while they were packaged on 11/2020!! I won’t be able to keep them for long... And I find that the saffron packaging is not airtight enough as it smells everywhere it is placed.
Disappointed with the vanilla pods that arrived moldy in the packaging. The customer service response was to put them in alcohol as soon as we receive them. This response does not satisfy me for several reasons: the pods arrived moldy upon receipt, I even sent a photo. So it is not the fact that I did not put them in alcohol that caused them to mold. I do not consume alcohol and I do not have any at home, I often order vanilla pods that I do not keep in alcohol and yet there is no problem. I give 2 stars because their sugar and spices are good but I will not order pods from them again. They offer very attractive prices on vanilla but I prefer to pay more and have good pods.
No problem with my order, fast delivery. Regarding the storage of vanilla pods, I have stored vanilla pods in a glass jar for several months without any problem, only poor quality pods justify storage with alcohol.
Hello, Since I particularly love wild pepper, I had it tasted... I then referred an acquaintance for his purchase. I thought the referral code was useful but no, ultimately nothing! Moreover, I saw on the site that there is a gift with every shipment!! Aside from the David vanilla magnet (as a gift it's a bit much!) I haven't seen any color. But the pepper is always appreciated!
The referral allows the referrer to receive a gift code 5 days after their godchild receives their order.
The magnet is our current gift, it's useful. We can never satisfy everyone; when we offer bags, we can get the same type of feedback.
The simplest thing is to stop the gifts, right?
2/5 when we prepare your order quickly and with great care, it's a shame.
You should try our competition please. Compare the price of the wild pepper you order with each order and the gifts.
If the gift is nicer but the pepper is 50% more expensive, we can do it but we are more reasonable with our selling prices.

Nice and the price is attractive, but the wild pepper from Madagascar that I bought smells good but has no taste, whereas I am from Reunion and I eat it often and it has a pronounced taste, I am a bit disappointed and I haven't had time to taste all the things from my order yet, we'll see.
We sell several tons per year of our wild pepper harvests and know this product very well. We offer 3 qualities: black, white, red. If our wild pepper has no taste, it might be due to covid 🙂

It's been a little over a year since I ordered from the David vanilla site. Usually, I am always satisfied. This time I ordered bourbon vanilla pods. They are dry and last... I am disappointed with the quality. I usually take other varieties that are oily and larger. Otherwise, the shipping is fast, we are notified by SMS as soon as the order is shipped.
The red vanilla is a dry vanilla as explained on the product sheet. It is the only vanilla that our perfumer and aromatic clients buy.

I received the order very quickly, well-filled vanilla, fatty while it is announced dry. Nice pod but however without taste, I have tried to extract the grains, infuse the pod, blend it into powder, but even using 3 pods, the flavor of the vanilla is only very slightly present. Basically, the pod is well filled but without any flavor or smell. They are starting to frost, as indicated on the site but still no taste. Well, apart from that the almond powder is good and the spices are strong. But I am still dissatisfied with the vanilla pods.
I was referred by my son on the email received it says 1 gift with your first order, I received my order but I'm still waiting for my gift. I sent an email to report this fact, I am still waiting for a response. So I certainly will never order again
Hello, my first order was great. I ordered Cream of the Tribes. I had my second order of Gourmet Vanilla Pods. I tried to contact you but received no response because the second order of Gourmet Vanilla was not great, very disappointed, too thin, dry, not much grain, out of 10 pods, only 5 were good, the others had almost no vanilla inside.
For now, it's great, let's see over time and in terms of preservation. Thank you.

Following my order of vanilla from Uganda and Papua, I found the one from Uganda larger than the one from Papua even though it was given as size L otherwise I found some pods really smaller and shabby a bit disappointed with this order. Usually I order more of the bourbon which is really top ... Otherwise I still recommend the site because David and his team are attentive and I think love their job Thank you all
Disappointed once again with my order. The first time a packet of sugar was forgotten and now I ordered 110 vanilla pods, the batch of 100 pods relatively beautiful and on the batch of 10 one could think that it is not at all the same quality. The pods are all small

Hello. I received moldy pods. I took photos before and after opening the freshness bag
It is the fats from the vanilla that rise when the vanilla is stored in the cold (in our workshop) and shipped.
When you run your finger over it or in front of a heat source, the essential oil and fat pearls (20% of the vanilla, see Wikipedia, etc...) melt.
This is a sign of excellent quality vanilla, quite rare to find in stores and fine grocery stores.
A simple call to our customer service would have allowed you to verify.

Hello, disappointed when opening my package. It was the first time I ordered from this e-shop. Here’s why = 1/ the Bourbon Rouge pods are dry (while the Gourmet Vanilla are soft) 2/ the package 'dried onion strips' has a label indicating a truncated expiration date (...before 31/12/202 (2021?2022?2023? ...) I understand why you send a SMS asking to verify the order
Well packaged parcel as well as the products just the cashews where they are crumbled, soft and have an aftertaste

This note does not target the quality of the vanilla pods. But it targets the slowness of delivery to Belgium (+15 days). I am not sure I will order again. This being my 2nd order and the first was also long. Not to mention that I did not receive the pod in time, so I had to make a purchase in a store. In short, delivery time to be reviewed. But beautiful pods upon receipt. I almost forgot, surprise in the box. Thank you.
Hello, I am disappointed with the batch of 10 vanilla pods, I received 5 good and 5 less well filled, well for me it is commercial technique, I will order more, however the 2 other individual pods, outside of batches, are correct the vanilla smell is there and found in my vanilla ganache.
The first time I had delivery it was very good, but this delivery the pods were really not nice and at least one in two is completely empty, disappointed by the quality, too bad.
- Fast and responsive service at the beginning. I had a problem with my order, customer service called me back quickly to understand and try to resolve my issue. We did not find the missing product and the person had no solution to offer me, so she told me she would talk to David and that he would contact me quickly. I bought the Mediterranean salted sugar, I am disappointed because I did not find the taste of the grilled caramel from Guadeloupe, it is spicier, we did not feel the sweet taste. However, the other spices are very good.

Tempted by a Facebook ad (I already knew the site, but had not ordered before), I was tempted by an interesting promotion. I am satisfied with the site, the price, the tracking, but a little less with the pods, which is still the most important.
Navigation on the site and shipping are top-notch but I received uncalibrated pods. Some are so thin that I have trouble opening them.
