Hello, disappointed when opening my package. It was the first time I ordered from this e-shop. Here’s why = 1/ the Bourbon Rouge pods are dry (while the Gourmet Vanilla are soft) 2/ the package 'dried onion strips' has a label indicating a truncated expiration date (...before 31/12/202 (2021?2022?2023? ...) I understand why you send a SMS asking to verify the order
Well packaged parcel as well as the products just the cashews where they are crumbled, soft and have an aftertaste

This note does not target the quality of the vanilla pods. But it targets the slowness of delivery to Belgium (+15 days). I am not sure I will order again. This being my 2nd order and the first was also long. Not to mention that I did not receive the pod in time, so I had to make a purchase in a store. In short, delivery time to be reviewed. But beautiful pods upon receipt. I almost forgot, surprise in the box. Thank you.
Hello, I am disappointed with the batch of 10 vanilla pods, I received 5 good and 5 less well filled, well for me it is commercial technique, I will order more, however the 2 other individual pods, outside of batches, are correct the vanilla smell is there and found in my vanilla ganache.
The first time I had delivery it was very good, but this delivery the pods were really not nice and at least one in two is completely empty, disappointed by the quality, too bad.
- Fast and responsive service at the beginning. I had a problem with my order, customer service called me back quickly to understand and try to resolve my issue. We did not find the missing product and the person had no solution to offer me, so she told me she would talk to David and that he would contact me quickly. I have not heard back since. - I have not tested the products yet. - I would like to buy red ginger. Could you add this to your store?

I bought the Mediterranean salted sugar, I am disappointed because I did not find the taste of the grilled caramel from Guadeloupe, it is spicier, we did not feel the sweet taste. However, the other spices are very good.
Fast delivery, careful packaging, and a free pen. But the products are not as exceptional as the name of the site would have us believe.

Tempted by a Facebook ad (I already knew the site, but had not ordered before), I was tempted by an interesting promotion. I am satisfied with the site, the price, the tracking, but a little less with the pods, which is still the most important.
Navigation on the site and shipping are top-notch but I received uncalibrated pods. Some are so thin that I have trouble opening them.

Easy and pleasant site Order incomplete and no response to my SMS request for explanation.
Too bad that in the packages FISH-CRUSTACEANS MIX and CARIBBEAN PIRATES 'FISH-CRUSTACEANS' there are fennel seeds that I had not seen in the photos or in the product description. I who hate the aniseed taste got rid of it.
I was very disappointed to receive 20 grams of saffron packaged in plastic, generally Iranian saffron is sold in its authentic metal box. I had contacted the seller for explanations and maybe to return the products but I never received a response.

One of the items does not match the presentation (Himalayan salt).
When an order is put on hold, you need to add a product to validate said order afterwards. This is a weakness of the site that should be corrected. The products are of quality and easy to find.
Order placed on 07/02/2022. This order took 8 days to reach me, receipt date 15/02/2022, it required several phone calls. With correction of the kg of pepper which had turned into 1 kg of brown sugar. I had to cancel my reservations for Corsica twice to receive the package. For me, the incompetence of order tracking means that this is the last time I will place an order on this site.
Error corrected by the team. We asked you if we should send it before your trip or after.
There was also the possibility of sending it directly to Corsica without additional costs.
SHIPPING FREE BY DHL by the team, receipt on Monday.
Talking about incompetence is just nonsense. Anyway... how to react after bending over backwards for a client?

The products are good but when you send an email or SMS if you need information, never any response, which justifies my rating.
The Bourbon Vanilla variety you sell is of poor quality, For proof, I made a pastry cream (300 mm of milk infused with a whole pod) the taste is almost non-existent? Cream for Baba same.....? For a Pastry companion, I know what good vanilla is without having traveled the world but the Tour de France. Looking forward to your comments.... Awaiting your response
You purchased the "Prestige" Split Red Bourbon Vanilla. The pods have been in a trunk for a long time and offer an aromatic precision and a higher vanillin content than most pods you buy elsewhere. See the description of the sheet which is very clear:

The weight of a pod does not determine its quality at all. You weigh as a professional a water content.
At our level, in the importation of vanilla, after years in the industry, here are the most important points:
- Vanillin content (main molecule for purely vanilla notes)
- Associated aromatic amplitude On this batch: Intense bouquet of red fruits (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, currants) Heart Notes: Caramelized intensity, Rose, Vanilla powder.
- Harvest period
- Aging of the batch, respect for the specifications specific to each importer (here, long traditional aging as in the past).
- Nutrients from the soil from which the pods come, indigenous terroir, type of cultivation (shade, agroforestry, intensive...)
- Final result in the creations of our chef and individual clients.
Finally, the vanilla that the industry buys to create vanilla extract is only split or unsplit red vanilla. Like us, it focuses on the quality of the batch and not on the visual. Today, 90% of imports in the agri-food sector remain red vanilla for the quality of its aromatic contents (yet dry but much more intense).
You will need to rethink your view of vanilla and become a novice again to move forward.

Disappointed not to have received the order I placed... it took two months to be refunded and despite that, I placed another one (this one) obviously the advantageous prices of vanilla were no longer current. A commercial gesture (gift) was made but still, I remain disappointed after years of hassle-free purchases.

I work for the Méert house in Lille, whose specialty is the vanilla-filled waffle from Madagascar. I was looking for an alternative vanilla pod to produce an even higher-end waffle. I wanted to test the Pompona vanilla. To my surprise, I received a very small and dried pod! Not at all in line with the photos and information I could obtain about this product, which was only exceptional in price. Very very disappointed!
If you had taken the time to contact our customer service, we could have responded to your request. If you read our title: "Vanilla Pompona Schiede Sèche" and the descriptive sheet, you would have understood the refinement of this pod. When we work with large houses, chefs, and palaces on R&D projects, we necessarily have a call, especially if it's for the biggest sale of this house.
This vanilla is extremely rare, we only have a few units left. How to make thousands of waffles without a base of several hundred kg of vanilla per year?

The quality of the pods is really superb but I was given damaged pods torn at the top I find that really not normal Especially when we talk about rare vanilla from Sao Tomé or Papua New Guinea the cream of the tribes

Website not up to par, errors in cumulative calculations for gifts and the cart does not appear in full on the screen. You cannot correct when you made a mistake and want to delete.
Second order and beautiful disappointment. Nothing to say about the products. However, I was charged for shipping fees even though I had intentionally exceeded the minimum. And the gift (given the amount of the order) that was supposed to be saffron turned out to be wood band. Very disappointed.. I had indicated that I was being charged shipping fees but no response. Too bad.
Your product total (excluding promotion) was €64.29 and €6.90 for shipping fees.
Therefore, the saffron was not offered because the total was not €69, nor the shipping fees.
