Half of the pods are very small and dry. Almost nothing to scrape off. It might be the variety that causes this, but I am disappointed
A 2kg bag of coconut sugar arrived torn, I contacted Davidvanille who never got back to me. I am surprised. The products are of quality but this lack of attention is surprising.
Misleading photos. Not representing the quality of the products.

Did not receive my entire order and in response, I am told that what is missing (2 pods) will be sent with my next order! This is not normal!!

My order arrived damaged and part of a product was lost, and I received no response from David Vanille despite two reporting messages. Otherwise, fast delivery and products conforming and of quality.
Error in delivery, but very serious in handling this error.

The 10 vanilla pods plus 10 vanilla pods were much smaller than 20 vanilla pods plus 20 vanilla pods. Not satisfied with this size.
We have included dry vanilla pods +10cm as planned in your order.
Some are 16-17cm and others 12-13cm, it's true. If everything was in 10cm, it would have been uniform but of lesser quality.

The problem is that the quantity was not correct, there were only 39 pods and not 40, for a first order it's not great.
The site is very good, the delivery time too... BUT... when I opened the package, I noticed that the vanilla powder bag was open, unsealed, and the powder had spilled in the package!!! The pod bag was closed but not sealed??? Too bad!... a relationship that starts badly!! To be continued??
The package arrived apparently in good condition, but coconut sugar was found outside the package. Upon opening, the coconut sugar bag was open and there was sugar everywhere inside.
Disappointed because my two Tahitian vanilla pods are shriveled? Is it because I ordered only two pods??? I don't know, because I sent an email, but no response to my question???
Hello. The vanilla seems to be of good quality and in line with the selling price. The pepper as a gift is appreciated. The delivery, nothing to say... so why 3 stars? When you order 20 pods + 20 free and there are 38 pods in the package (I counted 3 times), you think that the count is not right...
I just checked the photos of the order preparation and the counting of the pods, everything seems fine on our side. I am very surprised that you did not take the time to contact our customer service.

Hello, I am disappointed with the cancellation of my order... I took the time to ask if the packages were indeed sent internationally. I was told yes, but without being informed of the limits. Once the order was placed, I received the refund. It's strange... I was the one paying for the shipping. In any case, thank you for the quick refund. Have a nice day!

One mistake: I received pink berries instead of the juniper berries I ordered. The pink berries are of excellent quality, but they cannot replace juniper berries in sauerkraut.
Very well packaged, delivery just as good although I never received an email saying my package had arrived at the pickup point.

The vanilla is dry and not very fragrant
Error on the order, some products were missing and since they do not resend the missing products. I would have to place another order and pay the shipping costs which are quite high. Otherwise good products.

Hello, I ordered about ten pods, apart from two or three nice pods, the others are mediocre, not fleshy, flat, rather disappointed, I will not order again.
I just looked at the tracking of your order and the photos of the vanilla sent.
The pods are mostly 17cm, the pods are beautiful and fleshy.
The moisture content of a vanilla pod is not an indicator of quality (32% for your vanilla). The vanillin content, the aromatic amplitude, the result in pastry is the most important.
If I show you the same vanilla, the same batch at 36%, do you think the quality will be better?
Your resulting vanillin content will be lower as it correlates with moisture/vanillin/batch.

I took Madagascar vanilla pods and found them not very generous as there was little vanilla to extract.
You chose Madagascar Bourbon Gold vanilla pods size M 14-15cm.
I invite you to order longer pods next time, size L 16-17cm.

Indeed, the vanilla pods are dry as explained in the title.
The Gourmet aged and Bourbon Gold vanilla pods are much more moist, oily, and fleshy.

I received an empty envelope. The customer service doesn't want to know anything. Very disappointed.
Delivery time very long due to COVID-19: more than 3 weeks. Not very friendly support from David Vanilla when I asked to expedite the delivery with the post office.
Order arrived in good condition.
Ordered the tahitensis vanilla variety and received the Bourbon gold from Madagascar. Not the same price or quality. After many emails, no response. Too bad because the first order went very well.

Thank you sincerely for taking the time to leave a review. My shipping costs for Belgium are €11.89 with DHL express delivery. They are FREE from €149 in Europe.
To give you a comparison, sending a 1kg package via colissimo without signature is €15.05 (post office rates). My goal is to offer a premium service at the best price.
It would be possible to offer deliveries with relay solutions (delivery in 5 to 7 days) at a lower price but I am not interested because the service is not comfortable for my customers and the tracking is random.
You had already contacted me on July 13 to inform me that my shipping costs were too high, I then proposed FREE delivery in Europe from €149 instead of €199 previously. I am listening to my customers and doing my best to meet their expectations.

During another order from another supplier, I appreciated the packaging in a glass tube. What is this very nice jute bag supposed to be for??
I am very surprised by your opinion but remain open to every remark. I just looked at the MMS sent during your order. The pods are stabilized at 32-35% humidity, the notes are intense: cocoa, caramelized, indulgent, vanilla. Length of the pods 16-18cm. A humid vanilla at +35% is not a quality factor but rather the opposite.
The jute bag is simply "a gift offered" to keep the hermetic sachet protected from light and optimize the preservation of your Bourbon Gold vanilla pods from Madagascar.
