After experiencing disappointments with electric mills that systematically broke down in less than a year, I decided to return to the essentials with the JAVA range from De Buyer. Although I have only been using them for a few weeks, the first contact is very positive: - Aesthetics and Ergonomics: The different shades (White, Black, Brown) are not only elegant on the table, but also very practical for quickly distinguishing salt, pepper, and spices at a glance. - Efficiency: The grip is pleasant and grinding is effortless. - Quality/Price Ratio: It is an excellent alternative for those looking for robustness without necessarily investing in more expensive brands. For now, I am very satisfied. If the mechanics hold up over time, I am considering without hesitation the purchase of a fourth model dedicated to wet salt.
