I am still waiting for my package after 10 days and they tell me that the package has been delivered to a person I don't even know who it is.

A few days ago, while searching online for a specific product (Cabrales cheese from a certain brand) which is difficult to find in my area, I came across the Gold Gourmet website where I was offered the possibility to place an order for that product. On their sales portal, the appearance of the store seemed attractive and well-kept, with a price that seemed reasonable and good delivery conditions (24h for orders processed before 11h the previous day), I decided to make a purchase of the mentioned product to which I added another one from the cured meats section (beef cecina). In the Cabrales cheese advertisement, it specifies that it is served in wedges of 250 gms, and in the cecina ad, its photo appears presented in the form of a block. After placing the order on Tuesday, October 1st around 13:30, I assumed it would arrive on Thursday, the 3rd (this was done later than 11h). Nothing of the sort, the delivery was made early in the afternoon on Friday. Through GLS, I received a package, placed inside a plastic bag from the same courier company, which inside hinted at a slight square shape but with questionable consistency. I proceed to open it and a broken polystyrene box appears, in several pieces, and inside it a block of cheese weighing 500 gms (not 2 wedges of 250 as I wanted since not all the product was for me), deformed from the impacts received during transport after two days of travel, completely soft due to not having the cold of food preservation because of the breakage of the containing box, and a tray with the cecina sliced (not in block) as thin as cigarette paper, with the lid open (also due to the mishandling during the trip) and the product scattered inside the polystyrene box. It should be noted that there was a mini freezing bag to maintain the cold, but as is evident, its interior was liquid water and not ice. I feel bad because I am the first affected as I thought I had found a serious online store with good and appealing products and good service, and on the contrary, both the service and the shipment have turned out to be a complete mess. Of course, given this situation, I will not repeat.
