Hello, we set the time on the watches before sending them so that when you receive them, you just have to put them on your wrist. This also allows us to make sure that it works properly before shipping. The batteries in new watches have a life span of 1 to 2 years.

The description in the section "Learn more" is more reliable than the technical description which does not correspond to reality. For example, all Timex Ironman watches are given with the same technical characteristics when this is not the case.
