I am aware of your disappointment and I understand that the somewhat rough aspect of some of the jewels in the collection may come as a surprise, especially in comparison with jewels made from castings, and with modern machines and tools. I must inform you that this collection is unique, as it is entirely handmade, without casting and with rudimentary tools, almost as it was hundreds of years ago. These craftsmen are committed to working using the same techniques as their ancestors, thus perpetuating an age-old craft. Another typical aspect of this collection is the patina. This is achieved by blackening the jewel and then polishing it by hand, using bergamot leaves, or (for the most rigid pieces) metal fibers. This polishing technique gives a very special lustre to this collection. The result is a jewel that's a little rough, where you can guess the imprint of the person who fashioned it. But there's nothing to stop you reworking the jewel to suit your taste. For our part, we've decided to sell this collection as it was entrusted to us, out of respect for these craftsmen and their know-how. And I'm sure you'll understand our position. Navigation is not very intuitive, and as the jewels are numbered but not in chronological order on the pages, searching can be complicated (I like the N°X ring, go to the site and tell me what you think = a lot of wasted time!). Likewise, if you want to compare models to finalize your choice (the jewels are certainly very beautiful, so take them all ;-)). The ethics are there, and so is the quality of the jewelry; there's just one little thing missing to make everything perfect.

I'm taking the liberty of replying to you today, to tell you that we completely agree with you.
We are currently in the process of redesigning our entire site on another platform, for easier navigation, cleaner visuals, choice of delivery method for you, one page per product, which will enable us to give more information on each piece of jewelry, etc. We would have liked to finish it before the end of the year. We would have liked to finish it before Christmas, but it's a big job... It will be for 2021.

I've ordered several bracelets from Itsara and have always been very satisfied, but this time I'm a bit disappointed: the bracelet is too fragile, one of the wires carrying the beads has already broken (I've had it for just over a month and don't even wear it every day, unlike the others), and yet I haven't worn it underwater, as the site recommended.

Hello Charlotte We apologize for the inconvenience. We did have a problem with this model and have withdrawn it from sale. The loose tubes on an unbraided cord shear it with movement. We'll send you a free return form so that you can make an exchange, obtain a credit note or a refund. In this kind of situation: an anomaly, poor welding or obvious faulty workmanship. Don't hesitate to come back to us, even after the one-month mark. It helps us to improve, it saves others the trouble, and you'll get your money back. Unless the request seems abusive.
