Until now my opinion was excellent, but the last order I made of CHICHARRONES was the worst, receiving them, trying them and directly to the trash. They were inedible. I will not buy again.

The product (a boneless shoulder 50% Iberian breed) came loose inside the box without any type of support or padding, it was very loose. On the other hand, the meat of the product is as described but not the curing, it came very fresh. The flavor of the product is very mild, barely tasteless. I imagine not all products are the same, I only speak of a specific one I received.

I assumed that hams outside the norm are from Iberian pigs raised freely with acorns, but that for certain circumstances do not meet the standards for certification and labeling as IBERICO de Bellota. The ham I got by chance neither smells, nor tastes, nor looks, nor reminds you that its ancestors were Iberian, nor that it has tasted many acorns in its unfortunate life. Very disappointed.

Frankly, I am very disappointed. It has been a shoulder full of bacon and with hardly any lean. That is to say, I paid for a kilo of bacon at about 15 €. It seemed like a scam to me because I am sure that the 'master ham makers' know very well if the piece is balanced or is all fat. The only one who is pleased is my dog. I will not recommend this place.

The Iberian shoulder of 50% Iberico Benito (blue label) a bit raw and lacking flavor. That 24 months of minimum curing I don't believe, at most 6 months. There are others with more flavor of 50% cebo.
