The package was terribly wrapped, not even something bought in China is worse. And the tea cup, although in perfect condition, does not give the feeling, nor has any sign of having been made in Japan. Between the packaging and the dubious origin of the cup, I have doubts about whether I have been sent a second-hand item bought at a flea market in India. This is the second time I buy here and probably the last.

Response from Kyoto boutique
Dear Francisco Javier González Álvarez,
We regret to read your message, but we must clarify that your comment does not reflect the reality of our product. The cup you received does indeed come from Japan and is of good quality. We purchase all our merchandise directly from our Japanese suppliers. These products are originally intended for professionals in Japan and are not designed for international export. For this reason, certain information, such as the inscription 'Made in Japan', may not appear on the product. But rest assured that all our ceramics come from Japan.
Regarding the packaging, if the package arrived in poor condition, this does not necessarily depend on us, but on the carrier. If you wanted to file a complaint, it would have been necessary to send us photos of the package to the address of our customer service: [email protected]. If you are disappointed with the cup, you can simply return it to us and we will refund the product (excluding shipping costs).
We hope these clarifications help you understand the situation.
Sincerely,
The Kyoto Boutique team
