Following a delivery problem with Colissimo international, no responsiveness. I had to do the research work myself... and delivery (!). After a week and a reminder from me, the seller's only response: the Post says it is delivered. Indeed, since I took care of it myself! (Additional cost: 60€.). If the seller had bothered to take care of it in time, he would have noticed that this 'delivery' was a complete mess - tracking to support. In short, seller's responsibility not assumed: it is up to the seller to turn against the Post to get compensated, not the customer to bear costs when he is the only one not responsible at all. Morality: do not try to fix things, let the situation fester for weeks if necessary and demand a refund.

In Saint-Claude, our master pipe maker noted that your pipe was particularly dirty in the stem. Not having been cleaned regularly, the fluff was 'stuck' by the tars inside the stem and that is why it detached from the stem. Balsa is a lightweight and very soft wood that has the advantage of absorbing impurities (tar) as well as potential condensation inside the pipe. After 3 weeks of low usage (1 pack for 12 days) Customer service informs me, based on the photo, that this is not a defect. Clearly the pipe is FRAGILE then. I did not have this problem with a pipe that costs about 9 euros currently. (20 francs at the time). Not classy then.

I wanted to order a pipe and a pipe tool from Pipe Rit, living in French Polynesia I am subject to significant customs fees for any amount (shipping costs included) exceeding 170 euros. The order I wanted to make exceeded this amount, so I contacted customer service after a first terse response, they agreed to make a discount, but the email was not very clear regarding the terms of this discount, so I placed my order and sent them my order number thinking they would apply the discount. I heard nothing from them until I received my order with customs fees of 37 euros. After contacting their customer service again to express my dissatisfaction, the person replied very curtly that there was nothing to be done and that it was not her responsibility apparently.
Therefore, I would not recommend ordering online from this site.

On French pipes, there is often a slight gap between the tenon and the filter. There is very little space, so the smoke is still filtered, but it is not perfect.
