In the end, I was misled because several models in carbon finish were offered at the same time and some did not have the option to add a filter. So I was looking for a model with a filter; and I ended up with a pipe without a filter that I ultimately cannot use. Since I wanted a model with a filter!
Moreover, I did order filter boxes on the side but unfortunately they do not fit in the pipe I ordered. A pipe over 130 euros that I will not use. So I do not recommend and I will not recommend.
And this is the first time that this kind of mishap has happened to me on the Internet so I hold the site responsible for confusing information. Especially since it is supposedly possible to select only pipes with filters.
In short, disappointing experience and I will not recommend. Unless there is responsiveness and a search for a solution from 'the laughing pipe'

Very very disappointed, the straight Saint-Claude pipe I received is not the right one. The length from end to end is only 10.5 cm and the bowl is 1.09 cm. Mixed review: this is the Eole Flammée 2 pipe priced at 145 euros. While the line is elegant and conforms to the description and what I was looking for, it nevertheless has a manufacturing defect that should have disqualified it: the drilling of the pipe has damaged about 1 mm of the base of the bowl facing it. I am surprised that this escaped the verifications. This is the first time I see this type of clumsiness which nevertheless corroborates its 'unique exemplary' touted in the description.

Absolutely negative, no after-sales service for warranty or repair, €150 thrown away for nothing and a pipe unusable 4 days after receipt (It burned the filter and all the inside in bakelite. Following our previous exchanges by phone and upon receipt of your package, we confirmed that your pipe overheated too much, which caused the wood to literally burn. When using a new pipe, it is imperative to perform a slow and delicate charring to create a protective carbon layer inside the bowl. Generally, it should always be possible to hold the pipe in hand without it being uncomfortable. If you feel that the pipe is hot, you should let it extinguish and cool down before relighting it. According to our general sales conditions, your pipe cannot benefit from the warranty as it is not a manufacturing defect but rather clumsy use. Briar pipes with a bowl lined with meerschaum can be a good solution as meerschaum better protects the wood from heat. Therefore, the briar is unlikely to get damaged even if you draw too hard.
