excellent service and speed but customs fees for SWITZERLAND to be paid upon receipt are quite high (10 euros + 3% merchandise value). Next time I will pick it up at your store.

The French Value Added Tax (20%) does not apply to items destined for Switzerland. Unfortunately, we have no influence over any customs fees or taxes once in the delivery country. If you choose to pick up the package in-store, then French VAT applies.

The quality of the products available on the LA PIPE RIT site is undeniable, materials, finish, aesthetics, ... no negative comments to make. Sometimes the delivery times are a bit variable: the first time I ordered, I received my package within 3 to 4 days (in Belgium) sometimes it takes three times longer. The packaging is always well done and the orders are complete and compliant. We would like a greater variety in accessories sometimes. But overall, I have only compliments to make about this online store. I would like to mention that I am a beginner and occasional pipe smoker (for the sake of objectivity).

I appreciate finding a quality pipe site. But I regret ordering a pipe that is smaller than I thought. It's not easy to see it on the site... And it doesn't suit as a gift for my father, a St Claude pipe enthusiast.
