I knew absolutely nothing about pipes, I chose a straight pipe with a metal filter, I am very satisfied even though I think I will change the method of filtering the smoke. For young people like me who know nothing about it, the advice I can give you is to dry your tobacco to avoid the pipe going out too often. The tobacco should be dry to the touch but not brittle, pack it correctly and check the draw, it should not be too hard to draw nor too easy. After lighting, readjust the ashes on top with the tamper and then relight, after that you can smoke peacefully. The site is very reliable, follow them on YouTube for more advice.
