To get the most out of your candle, you need to burn it in regular intervals of 1h30 to 2h. Shorter burn times will create a hole in the middle of your candle, and it won't "go down" properly.
Another tip: remember to (re)cut the wick of your candle before each use to remove the soot from the previous burn and to straighten the wick for the next burn.

I know this candle and hadn't bought one for a long time. I love the mint basil version. I have to admit I'm disappointed with the feeling that you're squeezing quality for profit and it's unpleasant. It's much less fragrant and melts quickly. I won't be at the 50-hour mark, that's for sure. Personally, I'd like to support our French nuggets, but I have to admit that I won't be coming back to this one. That doesn't stop it from continuing to smell good with a beautiful wax.

Hello Madam, We're quite surprised by your comment because we haven't changed a thing about the Menthe Basilic scented candle in the 8 years it's been around. In fact, this candle has been one of the brand's best references since the beginning of the adventure. The fragrance is strictly the same, and the 100% vegetable, soy-based wax has been strictly the same since 2013. As a reminder, to get the most out of our scented candles, we recommend burning them in rooms no larger than 35m2 (beyond that, the fragrance captured in the wax is not concentrated enough to diffuse into larger rooms). Another tip: burn them in regular 2-hour increments (beyond that, your candle burns faster and you obviously lose burning time). The site is very easy to navigate and order, but I had several problems with the delivery, which was disappointing: - on the site, there's no indication of the delivery time, only that it's "fast", which doesn't help when you need a precise date. As a result, I received the order too late for the birthday I'd ordered (6 days after the order was placed). No worries about not being delivered the day after the order was placed, but an indication (delivery within 3 days, 5 to 6 days, a week, etc.) would be welcome - I had asked for delivery to a "point relai" for peace of mind and to avoid having to wait for a deliveryman downstairs. Except that I still had a home delivery. As I wasn't at home, I had to deal with a rather annoyed deliveryman (and rightly so) who called me several times, left messages and finally came and waited on my doorstep for nothing. A waste of everyone's time that could have been avoided.
Having said that, the delivery was correct and the product was in perfect condition when it arrived.

I love La Belle Mèche candles and have bought a few. This time I wanted to try the alcohol-free fragrance diffusers. I bought three and was disappointed. The fragrance is not the same as that of the candle of the same name and it doesn't really diffuse, the smell is really felt in the immediate vicinity of the diffuser. For an order over 150 Euros, I wouldn't buy another diffuser.

Hello, diffusers should not be used in the same rooms as scented candles. Diffusers are best used in high-traffic areas such as entrances, bathrooms, small offices, toilets, guest rooms, etc. They are not very effective in living rooms, which are often larger than 25-30m2.
