Very good product. Super design, fits perfectly in the kitchen. Ideal for treating large volumes at once. Perfect for us (household of 2 people). However, since our water is very hard, you need to think about regularly cleaning the limescale deposits on the glass walls to avoid reducing the effectiveness of the UV rays. But since the carafe is spacious, it lends itself quite well to cleaning.
Quite skeptical about the product at first, but given the positive reviews on the product, and the final reasonable price compared to other water treatment solutions (e.g.: Berkey), I thought it was worth a try. Our tap water always has an unpleasant taste (chlorinated in particular), I was looking for a solution to avoid buying bottled water, without having to regularly buy consumables (like charcoal filters). So I opted for LaCarafe (more suitable for our daily consumption for 2 people without having to change the bottles too regularly), and the result is quite impressive: the water is really better, without bad taste after applying the UV treatment, and much more pleasant to drink. Excellent concept that works: water without chlorine taste and preserved minerals. I recommend combining pre-filtration with UVA technology. According to my own market study, it's cheaper than filter jugs or other systems that tend to remove essential minerals. Plus, it's a French company to support! Responsive customer service because the hoses were missing from the order!
