My entire group of biker friends is equipped with Matt Racing suits. Satisfied, they offered me a gift voucher so that I could have one too, so I left with an excellent a priori. At the end of 2023, I ordered a 100% customizable suit, meaning that you can not only choose the colors of your suit, but also draw precise patterns on it. The presentation photo showed a suit with a beautiful wolf design and lots of detail. First problem: there's no indication of the file formats to be transmitted. Matt Racing's promotional video vaguely states "take your crayons and draw". So I drew my combination with the help of a graphic designer who used Photoshop. After turning in the sketches, MattRacing's graphic designer contacted me, telling me that I needed images in vectorized or high-definition (HD) format. We sent the drawings in 2000x3000 resolution, a much higher resolution than HD (1280 by 720). Another reply from MattRacing: this time, "we only work in vector", so finally there's no question of HD... So I converted my HD images to vector (which, by the way, wasn't technically difficult - I can't understand why MattRacing's graphic designer couldn't do it herself) and sent the requested files. This time, MattRacing finally sent me a visual of my combination and ... the colors are nothing like those of the drawings I had sent... I made the remark and was told that I had to give RAL or PANTONE references, which I was never told at any time and, once again, I didn't understand what was stopping MattRacing from using the PANTONE colors which were closer to the drawing I had sent rather than automatically using "standard" colors which were different from the project I had sent them. So I sent them the PANTONE references and they told me it was going into production. I asked to see the finalized version and was told that it would not differ from the last visual except that the pantones requested would be applied. A few months later, I receive my suit and there's a new problem: the color of a central part of the design of my suit is different from what had been validated on the visual (blue instead of black...). I contacted the after-sales service who, after a discussion just as laborious as that with the graphics department, acknowledged the error and offered to send me a new jacket without having to send back the old one, as it was not possible to correct the area in question. Two months later, I receive the corrected jacket, and there's a new problem with the new jacket: the PANTONE colors I had sent, which had been applied to the first jacket, are no longer the same. I end up with a sort of neon green instead of yellow, and a purpleish gray instead of a dark gray. The icing on the cake: the jacket is much smaller than the first, even though I didn't ask for any change in the measurements, which were fine for the first jacket. This new jacket has been literally botched and no longer matches the pants of the suit and my gloves at all. I contacted the after-sales service again, and the explanation I was given was "I put so much pressure on production to correct the defect that they were cooler about the rest". I was offered to send back my two jackets (the new one and the old one) so that they could both be corrected (strange, as I'd been told that the first jacket couldn't be corrected). After this mishap, I no longer have any confidence. I've only sent back the last jacket that didn't work, because I've run out of patience more than a year after placing my order. I've contacted another professional who's going to re-dye the part of my first jacket that was badly made to make up for the mistake, too bad if I have to pay again. In conclusion, an experience marked by total amateurism, from the design of the jacket to the after-sales service. The suits seem to be produced in a factory in Portugal, with which MattRacing has no control over what goes on there, and in any case has very little communication. There's no way I'm going to try MattRacing again, and my friends who were already convinced of this company were extremely put off by my experience.

Hello Lucas,
Very surprised by your comment and at the same time relieved to hear from you (no more replies to our numerous reminders for over a month), I'd like to take the liberty of replying to your opinion in order to clarify a few things that seem to have escaped you during our exchanges. Our technical graphic data are such as to have the best final rendering. We try to carry out our customers' requests to the best of our ability, based on the data transmitted, but as our GTCs specify, the mock-ups sent remain simulations and certain variations may appear in production. We acknowledge our errors once we've identified them and, yes, it can take more than 24 hours to trace the exchanges with the graphics and production departments, as well as the after-sales service. However, we've always given you a reply, and we've taken care of all the costs involved in making you a new jacket. We even decided to let you keep the jacket with the color problem, rather than take it back. Yes, it didn't make financial sense to modify your first jacket for us, so we made a second one. Normally, when a customer is supposed to receive one jacket, they don't get two, but we thought it would be nicer for you to end up with an extra customized jacket worth over €500 as a gesture of goodwill. As you know, our products are made-to-measure and by human hands, so mistakes can happen because, yes, to err is human and handmade products are never totally identical in their manufacture, hence the small difference in size you felt, but like all leather products, but given the error of the yellow used (we have two fluorescent yellows in our mass-dyed leather color charts and unfortunately, without having the pants to hand, production used the wrong yellow - once again, mistakes happen), we decided to take back your jacket in its entirety in order to change the yellow and, by the same token, enlarge the areas that were a priori too small. We e-mailed you back to let you know that, as part of our ongoing commitment to customer satisfaction, we'd be taking back both your jackets, so as to get the right yellow reference and the right size, but also, despite the financial burden, to take back both jackets so as to continue our first commercial gesture in your favor, i.e. to have two personalized jackets instead of one. And all this FOR FREE! Without replying to our email (and we won't hear anything from you from then on), you used the return transport voucher to send us back just one jacket instead of two, without explanation.
After more than a month of reminders from us about what to do next, you contact the guaranteed reviews company (which, I should point out, is not our after-sales service and therefore has no control over our processes and orders) to complain and threaten them instead of coming back to us and answering our emails... So yes, your opinion is approved because we have nothing to hide from our exchanges, but a customer opinion must be TOTALLY substantiated, and to clarify your comments: NO, we don't work with a so-called factory in Portugal with which we supposedly have only limited contact... We are based in Portugal and have daily "production" contact with OUR factory in Pakistan. The delays you may have felt were a little long are simply due to the fact that we also sleep at night and work a little less at weekends. For the sake of clarity, we hereby consider your after-sales service request closed.

Wrong choice of gloves. Too thick and warm. I thought they were thinner gloves. I've been badly advised, they should send a glove so that we can see how it feels, personally I'm not going to use them much. 200€ spent for nothing.

Hello Pierre,
I'm really sorry about your bad experience with the size. Unfortunately, you can easily understand that, like all internet purchases, it's not possible to send a sample to choose the right size for each customer, and now that prices are interesting. The best thing for you might be to go to a physical store, which might have less choice, but you'll be able to try them on live.

Avoid. I won't go into detail because it's very long. I ordered a two-piece suit in 2019. Size problem, too small. The problem would come from the measurements. Let's put it this way. They took back my suit and made me a new one in after-sales service, (Under commercial gesture) I took back ALL the measurements thanks to their video (not available at the time of my first order) with a professional seamstress. Suit received late 2020. Even shorter and smaller than the first one, even though I asked for a large size. Same refrain as the first time, (It's normal, it'll get made). But when it's almost impossible to link the two pieces and close the jacket, I don't think it's a question of that. I've had other negative feedback from other people. They were very rude, telling me that it wasn't a seamstress approved by their department. Except that they don't have one, and it's impossible to take measurements on their premises. MattRacing wouldn't let me leave a review on their site, on the grounds that I'd ordered the suit earlier than the review system had been set up. Except that my second suit was delivered at the end of 2020, so after this system was set up. I would like to thank the "Société des avis garantis" for allowing me to post this review. Guaranteed reviews, of course. I also had a problem with my gloves, with fingers too short and a pinching problem on the palm, even after several months of use. On a positive note, they also made me custom gloves. Much better! The leather is good quality and the finish is pretty good, but the fit... At your own risk.

We're sorry your experience with MATT Racing didn't live up to your expectations. We'd still like to thank you for underlining the fact that despite the fact that your second set of measurements was very different from the first (a case explicit in our GTCs of non-application of the after-sales guarantee), the after-sales service made the choice, as a commercial gesture, to produce a second suit as well as two other pairs of gloves entirely at its own expense. We would also like to point out that all our reviews are published and guaranteed to be completely transparent for all our customers. Because we pride ourselves on being honest and fair... Even if it's not always the best answer, we owe it to ourselves to say the same thing to everyone.

Hello Guenther!
We're sorry to keep you waiting. If you look in your customer area, you'll see that your order is being shipped. Unfortunately, the international health crisis has slowed down production and transport. We are dependent on their deadlines, which they no longer have any obligation to meet. All this, combined with a slightly late validation of the model, has resulted in an order that should arrive shortly. Don't hesitate to give us your opinion on the product.
