I find the helmet poorly designed as a road and cross biker, really poorly conceived.

Hello, This is a lightweight helmet type MTB for initiation and generally allows the chin strap to be accepted by a very small child, it is a MTB helmet and not a motorcycle helmet indeed, children's cross helmets exist if your child is already old enough to accept it.
