I ordered three decks of cards. They delivered twice in the evening while the school was closed. Do you know how much three decks of cards cost me? 100 Canadian dollars. I found the idea rather nice to represent the tables through cartoons, mental images. But I was disappointed because while doing the experience with my 8-year-old daughter, I realize that there are too many cartoons and she doesn't necessarily remember the story. She needs to listen to it several times. And yet I only did one table with her. She likes the cartoons but they are a bit fast and especially she forgot the story when we come back to it later, when I ask her the question: so 3x8=? Remember the story, it remains difficult to memorize. Too bad!
