The quality of the water is excellent. The device is bulky and difficult to place.

The ordered product arrived partially broken.

The activated charcoal stick arrived all crumbled and I don't find that it changes the taste of the water. We'll see if it's because it's the beginning…

I didn't really receive what I ordered. The base is metallic rather than being wooden and the bowl is stainless steel rather than matte black.

After 6 months, the jug broke without impact

The package contains only 4 out of the 5 ordered and indicated on the package

I still haven't received my order from August 8th and today is the 21st. I have no non-premium phone number from you to discuss this, I will have to cancel my order to do it legally, I only have 14 days. I am desperate about this item that I was looking forward to so much.

The binchotan charcoal seems to do the job, however, it is quite cumbersome to use. Drying the charcoal between uses and filtration duration of 4 to 8 hours. For me, it's 8 hours for optimal filtration and that is very cumbersome.

The filtration system itself seems good, the water tastes good and the filtration is done at a much faster rate than I thought I understood. However, there are two things I regret: At the end of the assembly, we noticed a small bump in the bottom tank even though we did not drop either the package or the tank, but we cannot prove that it was there before because we did not pay attention. Secondly, the filters do not sit straight in the top tank, they are wobbly; we thought we had tightened them properly so we assume it must be like that originally, but we find that it does not look very sophisticated. For us, these filters should stand straight. So a bit disappointed, which explains the rating.

Unfortunately, quality is sacrificed for profitability. I bought bamboo charcoal for €44 thinking it would last for 6 months of filtration, and after 2 weeks, all the charcoals are broken into small unusable pieces. I am forced to place a new order. But this time, I will be more vigilant and look for real compact charcoals and not hollow sticks.

The nauseating smell is way too strong for my taste, but while testing I feel that my teeth are smooth, I think it works well, but for me it's way too strong.

I'm quite satisfied with my cartridges, although I haven't had enough experience yet. I'm surprised by the speed of filtration. I had Doulton cartridges before and filtration was drip-feed. The ORINKO instructions state that filtration takes 4 hours...My filtration took barely 2 hours. I hope that the value for money, given the much longer life of these cartridges than the Doultons, is as reliable.

1st parcel of coals arrived in crumbs. Second for exchange: the coals don't match the size of what I paid for.

No response to my complaints, partial delivery

Hello On further research, I realized that you make your own binchotan, so it has nothing to do with those from Japan. What's more, the manufacturing processes are done with chemicals, so they're not good for your health. I'm sorry to tell you all this. Moreover, if your products really came from Japan, there would be a yellow label on each packet. Best regards F.Dubois

Out of 5 bamboo binchotans, 3 arrived broken, one of which was unusable.

Impractical to pour water through the filter!

Charcoal particles remain at the bottom of the carafe It's unpleasant and can be dangerous I sent an email to report it but no reply from you Shame!

Disappointed the activated charcoal sticks are very very small. I can't use the sticks for my teeth because I've had allergies, so I wouldn't recommend you.

Hello I can't use the carafe and the charcoal because the charcoal doesn't fit in the filter...

The tube has two small dents and the charcoal is much smaller than in the photo. I have to buy new ones. The water still tastes of chlorine.

I'm not very satisfied: - ordering error: I received only 1 carbon instead of 3. This will be rectified, but it's taking a long time. - the charcoal received floats, regardless of the amount of water put in the carafe: as a result, it's in permanent contact with the air and the surface area submerged is less. The instructions state "if the charcoal floats in the water, please contact us". The solution suggested in a (sympathetic) e-mail from customer service = buy a specific decanter from Orinko or calculate the buoyancy (formula on wikihow) to find out the right quantity of water... the charcoal still floats and I don't want to buy an expensive decanter. As for the effectiveness of the charcoal and pearls, I trust them, as I have no way of checking. Conclusion: small company in the process of being organized, undoubtedly good products, friendly customer service.

Several broken in two

The parcel did not arrive on time. It said 24 to 48 hours. It arrived 2 days later but I had to leave to take the product to my son in Guyana... I missed it! Too bad

Good Orinko site meets my needs
