If I trust the description on the site, these 10 pieces of charcoal give 1 and a half years of filtration. Received quickly as well as the e-book of use and in good condition but they are very fragile, the one I used started to crack by itself before I even boiled it. I tested it right away: 4 hours soaked in the glass carafe filled with city water. I feel like the water is filtered. But the water of my city has a bad taste and even if it was attenuated it remains bad taste after the use of the carbon. So I reserve this water for preparation such as tea, coffee or cooking.

I use it every day as the tap water is dirty and very, very hard. I like its active effects (I used to use a Brita decanter). The only drawback is that some of the sticks are big and don't fit in glass bottles (I had to buy a decanter).
