The box contains 5 charcoals, of equal length/diameter. No dust or small pieces in the cardboard box. It is very easy to use, you just have to put a coal to boil in water for 10 minutes before the first use. I find that the tap water has indeed a more neutral and pleasant taste when we drink it.the only disadvantage, it is necessary to have 2 carafes to always make a rotation. But at least, we drink tap water with pleasure and we stopped buying bottles!

It's quite simple, for my water carafes at home I only use this. I am more than skeptical of plastic cartridges. Moreover, each carbon lasts six months and there are five in the set. If it seems expensive at the beginning, it is finally nothing at the arrival. Very good product, natural and effective, I recommend without problem because I am a fan. In addition, frankly, it is easy to use while being ecological, so: the coals are to boil ten minutes and then they are ready to be used. You just have to put them in a carafe and wait a few hours to have a purified water, without smell, without particular taste. After a month, you boil it again and put it back in the carafe. A charcoal can last six months, so we avoid a lot of plastic bottles or dubious carafe filters that are just as plastic. For me, there is no photo.
