The charcoals worked very well at first, but soon they were no longer effective in the short term. You have to let them soak for a long time to remove the chlorine taste. Not effective enough in my opinion.

I am very happy with this purchase. I put it in several containers like a water carafe that either stays outside or in the fridge, and: great efficiency! because I no longer have the corolla of limestone impossible to remove. So I added it to the reservoir of my coffee maker and to my humidifier, I am delighted!

I am very disappointed because it leaves deposits at the bottom of my glass bottle and be careful because they are very fragile, don't drop them on a hard surface or they will break.I have an activated carbon that a friend gave me that is "round" or "full" I don't know how to describe it and it doesn't leave any deposit. I boiled both the same way, otherwise the taste of my water disappears so it's cool.
