Fast delivery, but disappointed by the too crumbly coals, my old ones were of better quality and very smooth

I'm a big fan of Binchotan, those special pieces of charcoal that purify tap water. And it really works. The water tastes good, no more chlorine smell, you just have to wait a few hours. I use these, and others, from Japanese oak. I prefer the oak... hard to say, the oak seems more 'powerful'. Otherwise, very happy with these

These little pieces of ceramic leave marks on the glass bottle in which I had placed them. It was deceptive because, at the beginning, I was juggling with 2 bottles. As soon as I poured myself a glass of water, I filled up the missing one immediately and let it sit for the recommended 30 minutes. But one day, I didn't fill it up as I was using it, and I can tell you that I saw traces of limescale!

I have been testing this product for 3 days. The result is indisputable: the water is softer and some flavors have faded.

I had done a limescale test once, and I have limescale water at my tap, so I wanted to try these ceramic beads. I did several tests and I don't feel any difference in the taste, but I didn't have any limescale test left... So I don't have an objective test. It's quite simple, since I discovered these things, I only use them. I never trusted plastic filter cartridges, but frankly, besides the result (clean water with no aftertaste, neutral ph), one stick lasts for six months. It's simple and very effective.

I am quite satisfied with my purchase. The bag contains 4 sticks of Binchotan. It turns out that they are authentic, to do the test, just tap 2 sticks to hear a metallic noise. The yellow sticker proves its authenticity, the water loses the taste of tap water (limestone and chlorine) without removing all the nutrients because the binchotan releases nutrients good and necessary for our health.I just think it's a pity that the 3 sticks are not of similar sizes: There are 2 sticks of size M and one very small one (more adapted to a bottle of 1L rather than 1l5). To reactivate it, boil it in water during 15 minutes, as soon as you feel that the water loses in quality.

I bought the ceramic pearls in order to discover this new product.the returns being still a little weak on internet I decided to test by myself.the pearls arrive in a small bag I used the pearls in my water carafe, in the tank of the coffeemaker and in the kettle.The taste of the water is really different I live in a city where the tap water is very chlorinated and the taste is no longer there after putting the pearls.For the coffee maker and the kettle the pearls do not remove the limestone but the deposit and the white traces are almost non-existent.I am convinced and I will repurchase some.

The idea was interesting but I find this system a bit dangerous. The wood is very hard and in spite of a curved shape at the end, it risks to touch the eardrum. It's a pity.

I only use a carafe of 1 liter, I would have expected sticks of + or - 40 gr ... out of 5 sticks: 1 of 85 grams (huge) + 2 of medium size and 2 very small ... I confess to be very disappointed by these differences in weight ...! Wouldn't it be possible to have slices closer to the customer's needs...? Otherwise, delivery is rather fast...!

The charcoal is known to filter impurities from the water but to check it you need to have in your possession a water tester ppm to test the water before and after.

It is a product that no longer has to prove its effectiveness. But is that a reason for it to be so expensive? Of course, you will pay for it by not having to carry out the chore of water packs. It probably balances everyone's budget.

I was already familiar with the principle of activated carbon to purify tap water, having used it extensively. Until then, I used long enough sticks that I could put in a water carafe without any problem, but now, the sticks are not so long but they are much too thick for me to put them in my water carafe, so I have to split them in two or even in three, which is far from being easy. It's a pity.
