Hello, I put only 4 stars because I have difficulty to evaluate the benefits of the charcoal. Besides, a small problem, given its lightness, it tends to rise in the carafe, so it is partially immersed ... is there a way to keep it deeper?

I am very happy. Indeed, the water does not have any more the bad taste which it has when one drinks the water of the tap. I am in a particularly calcareous region and the water does not have a really great taste.easy use: we boil each stick during about fifteen minutes and they are ready to be used. The best is to have 2 carafes (with each one their binchotan) when we have people.However, there remains a zone of shade: the harmlessness of the activated carbon was not shown. In 10 or 20 years, we will perhaps realize that it was not so good as that.Also, I wonder if it remains well the minerals in water. The price is not given even if theoretically each stick has a lifespan of 6 months. (We have therefore for 2 years and half normally).

You must already have purified your water from a bacteriological point of view (with different techniques, chemical or thermal or by gravity filters, unless the latter already contains activated carbon in its filter) Despite their size, each one can last several months.

First of all, you should know that I'm for zero waste and ecological ideas, now you should know that when I opened the package I thought: "look, these chew bones are funny! "Then I realized that there were 6 of them instead of the advertised 5, great! I tasted it, I found it ... In the end, it won't replace my toothbrush and my ecological toothpaste, but I use it as a supplement for lunch or when I nibble almonds between meals and I have a lot of teeth! Lot of 5 siwak sticks, as you can buy them elsewhere. The size and thickness of the sticks is quite uniform even if there are some differences (which shows the natural side too).each stick is vacuum packed separately. The box is practical even if I am rather disappointed. It is made of plastic. I would have liked something more refined. Less big, in stainless steel or silicone at the limit. The price is correct but would have been perfect with a better quality box.

1 month used, it improved the taste of my tap water

The 6 sticks were cheaper than the Black & Blum ones I usually order on the sansbpa site, but they are almost half the size. Quite disappointed with the small size which is only mentioned in grams so misleading. Lots of black residue before and after boiling it, rinse thoroughly! I have not yet tested its effectiveness. Delivery in 24h.

Good product that purifies tap water before drinking it

At home we have several water filtration systems to avoid buying bottles as much as possible. I have already been able to test these charcoal sticks and the use is really simple, you have to boil them in water between 10 and 20 minutes before using them.The water has no taste, it loses the smell of chlorine that it can have when it comes out of the tap as well as the taste a little chalky.par account in view of the size of the sticks that are still quite small compared to what I have already used I find the price a hair excessive even if it lasts several months to purchase it remains a cost.the sticks at the end of use they are compostable therefore recyclable.
